Man Moto GP having a worse time than F1 with the weather at the moment.
Qually got rained off.

Has anyone noticed that "Global Warming" just seems to be causing more rain?

Me, I noticed that at the tail end of last year. There seemed to be weird weather.

Isn't gobal warming great :D More rain = Better motorsport races. I'm off to purchase a tank that does 2mpg.

I usually don't watch Moto GP, but I've tried this year. Missed the start of the race today but I seen all the important bits. Seriously, why can F1 cars run that close :( The battle between Rossi and Pedrosa was brilliant. Lorenzo drove brilliantly, and I have to say I thought it was brilliant seeing him plant the flag. Epic. Then he got pushed half way back to the pits by some obese man in a shirt :hehe:

Another good win today for Rossi. He was all at sea yesterday, but made some drastic changes to the bike which paid off. There may be one or two faster than Rossi over a single lap, but when it comes to down race craft, and setting up and developing the the bike, there is nobody better; he is in a class of his own.

Kinda wanted a Spainard to win today, but it wasn't to be. Lorenzo just seems a bit too crash happy.

Wasn't a bad race. But watching the battle between Stoner and Rossi, now why can't we have that kind of action in F1 :(

Yeah 07, 08 were good seasons in my book and 09 is turning out to be very exciting!

Not saying we don't have great racing. It's just too often we see cars forming trains. It irks me watching races like Bahrain last weekend where drivers like Vettel get stuck behind others constantly. Its boring to watch races like that. Overtaking in F1 just still isn't up to scratch, turbulence is still far too present.

Fundamentally Formula One will never live up to Moto GP in terms of the number of passes per race. Mind you F1 isn't simply about that, I do agree it would be amazing to have an exciting race every race, but its just not possible. The past few seasons have been fine though.

True, I would never expect any form of racing on 4 wheels to be like that. But I do hope F1 can at least reach a level of overtaking that we seen in the 90's.

not true Karts are like bike racing for passing

as for the MotoGP yesterday, that race was pretty tame for excitment if you ask me. The racing wasnt close enough and we didnt have any tussle for the win in the closing stages. The 250 race before it was much more exciting.
