Lewis won't shock the racing scene yet, i'm guessing 6th race in?
That will be when most teams have upgraded, Then Brawn wil have a fight on there hands.
But for this weekend to come, Its raining Tifosi.

I would expect McLaren to have made significant improvements by Catalunya.

Thats true, who would of thought? Vettel? a winner? :eek:
Alonso winnig twice in a row?
So last season was a big WHAT
so this season won't be as predictable.
Its between Massa,Kimi,Barichello,Button Maybe BMW? Maybe Glock.

I'm not predicting any race results, because that would be mad, but here's how I think the balance between team-mates will look:

Hamilton = Kovalainen
Massa = Raikkonen
Kubica < Heidfeld
Alonso > Piquet
Trulli < Glock
Bourdais > Buemi
Webber = Vettel
Rosberg > Nakajima
Fisichella > Sutil
Button <= Barrichello

This is, of course, assuming that there are no major car-driver mismatches like last year (Heidfeld, Raikkonen, Kovalainen).

Heidfeld looks better, but tbh them 2 are not solid bets....
Massa kinda is from what i could tell from last season performance, Kovvy? Ha!
no chance. After a while Lewis will have his solid look again.

Kovalainen has the speed; his qualifying pace (with significantly more fuel than Lewis) demonstrated that. However, he needs to work on his race pace, which was somewhat hampered by the characteristics of the MP4-23, which would have been designed with Lewis and Fernando in mind, not Lewis and Heikki.

True. i just think he let down the team...Seening as Ferrari re the more easier bet to go with? as both the drivers are working forward to the title every year?
hense there success level is so high? becuse the 2 drivers are at the same level. Maybe Alonso & Lewis were at the same level? but through there share dumbness they did not keep him on? everyone has problems? but BMW WIlliams in the past had Schumi & Montoya work together and they had the same problems? but they had to work it out? then look at BMW WIlliams success :)

Alonso/Hamilton could not work after 2007.

Kovalainen did let the team down (and did admit to it) but his performances were not quite as bad as the results showed. When he was fast enough, he didn't have the luck. Had he not had problems in Spain, Turkey and Japan, he probably would have scored twenty points more than he did. Of course, that's all made up from 'what-if' scenarios and so is now completely pointless.
