God, this makes me feel horrible.

The most recent and only gaming console I have is an atari :/

I want an xbox 360, but I know I'll never use it.
I get dizzy after half a minute of playing :/

you crazy

and na Stone monkey i dont think there is the PS3 or 360 HD version released yet. as its coming out next year it will most likely be totally different. i hope so!

ok, I wouldn't worry about the PS3 or 360 games looking anything like the PSP or wii games, they won't.

i thought the Wii would have better graphics than that? im not sure how a wii compares to a PS3 though hardware wise. but yeah hopefully the PS3 graphics will be better.

Both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 have superior hardware to the Wii. Higher clocked CPU with a better manufacturing process, more RAM and a faster GPU with better architecture.

The wii's just a camecube with slightly upgraded gfx hardware and IO. It was never intended to compete with the PS3 or 360 in terms of processing power but more to innovate in how the player interacts with the game which it's been quite successful with.

Yup

i think they mostly achieved that by aiming it at the yuppie/suburban family/middle class kinda market. It's the first console that i know of that is owned by more of my friend's mums than my friends themselves

Race Car Evolution is filled with them (I do feel sorry for anybody who needs to use it in order to find setups, because whilst it's a great idea, it does not work well at all). Touching your setup after RCE is also not possible, since it just reverts to defaults.

Controller issues seem to be in there, to. The game will occasionally stop recognising input from buttons on a controller (leaving you with acceleration and braking as the only things you can do). Fortunately, this doesn't happen to me as often as it happens to my mate who ended up with an excessively long pit stop because he could only raise the car up on its jacks before having to wait for everything else to happen slowly. >.<

Both of these issues are also present in the PSP version. Additionally:

Game spontaneously ceases working at the end of random sessions. Commentary (Particularly in "Testing" and Qualifying) often lags 1 lap behind the action. Clipping the wall even slightly at Monaco results in a Red Time (As in, voided lap - off the road).

F1 06 is not bad, but it's got issues.

I'm very much looking forward to both versions of F1 09 and also to F1 2KX

im not impressed by the screen shots, the Wii and PSP are both piss poor.

the HD variant better be good for the PS3 as i feel its got alot to live up to. studio liverpool did a fantastic job wih their previous efforts.

It'll get better, it's only in BETA mode right now. Kind of looks like a screenshot from F1 World Grand Prix on the N64 right now.

Oh Jacques...he got too big for his boots... :hehe:

2010! Awww I can't wait another year. Here's hoping the career season is longer than 5 seasons and the weather actually plays an important part. I.e. Sunny one minute and pouring down with rain the next. So it would be good to pit and be able to choose your own set-up like going for Full wets as opposed to Inters,

Well in F1 2009 the Career is 3 Seasons, but F1 2010 will probably have 5+ considering it's focused on emulating the experience of being a racing driver.

I wouldn't know - I've never had the chance to tag the barrier at Monaco because I'm usually in the side of another car. That is one circuit I can not get my head around :P
