It's a shame if Lewis's appearance schedule will not allow him to compete this year as I would love to see the new WDC compete against Michael. I find it very pleasing to see Michael's protege Vettel alongside him repping Germany.

I wasn't aware Schumacher was mentoring Vettel.

From what Bob Varsha mentioned this past season I think he is. Varsha mentioned that Vettel calls Schumi on his cellphone for advice etc etc and Varsha believe's Vettel will be in a Ferrari within the next few years. However all of this is just pure speculation so who knows.

He would be good along side Lewis at Mclaren, good for Mercedes too.

Is it sad that I sorta got the day off work tomorrow to watch this? I mean, I've got holiday to use up, but this was the first date I thought of to take off.
It's just going to make the wait to the start of next season that little more bearable, methinks. Or maybe not -_-.

Looks like Coulthard's continued his trend of crashing so much even in retirement.

I couldn't believe Schumi got beaten by a NASCAR driver! I wonder if a certain Mr J.P. Montoya was watching he could do the same?

Schuy really messed up XD But then Coulthard beat Edwards badly, despite a proper crash. Geez, talk about embarrassing defeat.

But anyway, I checked the ROC site on a complete and utter whim, and next thing I knew it, I was watching Priux vs Loeb Live!
It was both brilliant and complete dumb luck.

Still, David almost had it. I was cheering him on the whole way, since, considering his lame exit in Brazil, this would have been the perfect end to his career, and he almost, just almost did it. But it was still a great way to go out, toe to toe with Loeb. Really, they shouldn't have been driving those ROC cars again, give DC a chance =P. The turn out in wembly wasn't exactly spectacular

As for Ireland
I was hoping to see something from Carol, but no. Beaten easily by Schuy, and Matias. Maybe next year then.
