If Kovalainen can't win this year in that car, then he should seriously consider his future as an f1 driver! :P

a bit harsh, he just need to be a bit more aggressive in future imo

Yeah, it was a joke...

Of course, it doesn't help him when he's told to let his team mate past - which is what it really looked like today.

Heikki can easily take a win, but I can't explain what happened to him today. What happened to the guy who fended off Raikkonen's Ferrari in a lowly Renault back in Fuji last year? The guy who kept it together in the disgusting conditions at the European GP?

Don't worry, though - his time will come. As for new winners, I'd say Heidfeld and Kovalainen are in with a shot. Provided Heidfeld has actually got past his tyre-warming issues.

I have a feeling about Nick Heidfeld in Hockenheim, as for kovi, I don't know if I can see him getting a win for the rest of this season.

Heidfeld winning his home grand prix would be awesome. I'm sure the Germans would love that especially since its a German driver in a German car.

Heikki would have won if it was dry imo but he doesnt seem to like the MP4 23 when things get abit slippery, in Canada he was well off the pace of his team mate aswell.

I think Mark would've done better in the dry too. I think his nerves got to him at the start followed up by trying too hard after he lost 2 positions which led to his spin. His time will come.

yeah i feel sorry for Mark but i dont think he would have made an impression in the top4 with his fuel load even if he didnt spin.

gee it seems quite around here............Lewis won...........there has to be a connection?

I would like to see Nick Heidfeld win, especially in his home GP, but I'm starting to think he's becoming the eternally-second driver, unable to get a win. I hope that's not true, because it appears he finally did overcome his qualifying troubles. Today he couldn't do anything more than second.

I like to think he'd do much better if the race was dry. He was great whole weekend (save for the race), and that was not coincidence.

Anyway, he looks like the guy who'll take the punch right into face and keep working even harder, rather than drowning his sorrow in bit*hing around.

i think that about Heikki as well, he wont be giving up because he had a bad race in the wet, if it was dry i still think he would have won with his dry pace which was there all weekend

And next year things are gonna get one whole lot slippier :):):)

in terms of downforce reduction that maybe so but the slicks will make up for it with mechanical grip
