Well I hope that is correct as Alonso is a great driver and I certainly would like to see him at Ferrari, but a lot earlier than 2010. 2009 would be nicer. What I would like is for Kimi to win this year (Althought Massa would be great too if he wins) and then for Kimi to retire and Alonso take his place.

Same here.

Alonso can go to Ferrari, I dislike him now as a person though respect him as a driver, I dont support Ferrari so they can do what they want

Alonso is a champion. Last season when it came down to the wire for the drivers title. If Kimi were not to win it (although somehow he ended up winning), I was all the way going for Alonso over Hamilton. They both drove McLaren back then which I do not like but better a driver I like win in a car I don't like than both a driver and car I don't like win. I guess in the end a driver in a car that I liked won. FORZA FERRARI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

English translation PLEASE!!!! :P:mrgreen:

Oh nevermind I probably dont want to know.

:D
don't worry, its nothing dirty... surprisingly, DD has kept her hormones under control this time :D

DD asked if "Bienvenuto" was French-italian... But i responded she was close, cause its actually Spanish + Italian...
as Alonso (spain) + Ferrari (Italy). So there you go: Bienvenuto Fernando.
:)

Well, I could argue it IS Fritalian because of bienvenu and benvenuto - that's why I asked  But your combo of Spanish and Italian is a logical one.

Its Bienvenido in Spanish and Benvenuto In italian. Bien = Well (Italian Bene) and Venido comes from the verb Venir which - to come. (Italian its Venito from verb Venire). Literally Welcome in Spanish and Italian = well comed. I love languages. ;-)

Ferrari have refuted a rumour that Fernando Alonso may join the team in 2010. During the Monaco Grand Prix race weekend, a rumour surfaced that Alonso had signed a preliminary agreement to join the scarlet-clad team in 2010.

With Raikkonen’s contract expiring at the end of 2009 and Massa’s contract expiring at the end of 2010, many were speculating on which Ferrari driver the Spaniard would place. Some have said they would like to see a Raikkonen – Alonso pairing, although Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo ruled this option out last month.

However, a Ferrari spokesperson has spoken to German magazine Auto Motor und Sport and denied that any agreement between the team and Alonso has been made, describing the rumour as “absolute nonsense.”

Who knows, everything is possible these days! I'm not sure if these have been posted already.

I doubt Ferrari will drop Massa after he win's the WDC this year :D all the while being a major contributor to Ferrari securing the 2008 WCC, yet if it was/is to happen my support will be with Robert. Kimi is such a tough read who know's what he will do but I wont be left crying if he does leave, I will say good riddance  !

Personally, I hope Ferrari retain the services of both Massa and Raikkonen. :)

I don't think Kubica will leave BMW, he's already pledged his future to the team and has hinted he would love to face competition from Alonso. However I see more chance of Alonso moving to Ferrari when Kimi retires, if he does either at the end of this year or next year. It would also be harsh for Heidfeld to get the boot just because his qualifying pace hasn't been so good, his race pace has been much better. Who's to say that his qualifying performances might improve next year with the slick tyres returning? Also his experience is vital to help develop the car, Kubica is not the only one giving the feedback to the team, or Klien whenever he's doing a test day. He is not world championship winning material, but a good foil for Kubica.

I'd be for Kubica and I think he'd get it cos alonso would :dummyspit: when he found he had another partner who could challenge and beat him. Kubica I think would find it amusing to wind up alonso. that would be fun to watch :hehe:

If anything you'd expect anyone wanting to annoy Kubica to constantly take the mickey out of his nose.

Thing is, the guy has the kind of personality that gives the impression he wouldn't care about things like that. He tends to just get on with the job. His words in public are never badmouthing his or any other team, nor any of the drivers. He's always honest about things and I think that's one of the reasons a lot of people like him.

I'd think so too because he never came out throwing a hissy fit or anything like that when Ron said quite cheekily that "he should fix his nose".
