Webber...Webber...Hmm...

Oh, that nobody who's achieved sod all? Yeah, I sort of blank him out now

when will you blank out Button

Why would I blank him out? He's not a nobody and he has achieved good results. He's as good as or better than any driver on the grid right now...

Webber's just s**t

haha what has Button achieved? a lucky win? few podiums and a pole one season when BAR had their car on song? Im not being a Button hater i think he has alot of talent i also think Mark does! there in lies the problem!
dont you see what im gettting at? results are determined by the car their in! i would expect a fan of Button to have abit more sympathy for a guy like Webber

[racechick]

He's crying because he can never finish a race. He should keep him mouth shut. Trulli and Glock are better than Webber. I used to like him.

I used to like Webber too. He was one of my favourite drivers at one point. Now im afraid he's one of the ones I least like, Though he does qualify well he hasnt lived up to expectation . He seems very unlucky unless he just hammers the car till it breaks but the worst thing about him is his constant whinging and blaming of others. Him and David both!!

I would have, but Webber seems to think he's amazing. We're talking about the jerk who had the audacity to call Williams the "Toyota B-Team", like they were somehow unworthy of him. I can't stress this enough he implied he was too good for history's 3rd best team.

I have no time for Webber Bud. No driver can turn around and start insulting the team which is statistically still 3rd best of all time, least of all Webber. It takes a supreme lack of class to insult the only team who ever gave you a podium-capable car. So you'll forgive me if I have no sympathy for him. I don't care how mediocre the car may be, until he shows why it is he considers himself too good for Williams, he's a non-issue to me.

And a lucky win? No sir. A hard-fought win. Maybe Alonso did get taken out by an issue, but Jenson fought his way to contention from 14th on the grid thanks to an engine change. You make it sound like he won because every car in front of him had some kind of problem. It was wet Bud, and Jenson Button is mighty in the wet. That's why he won.

[bud]

Actually Webber has had a podium with Redbull aswell.

and was he wrong in saying Williams are a Toyota B team? afterall why else would they have Naka and not Toyota themselves but yeah no doubt he had sourgrapes there with that remark but i would too if my engine kept blowing up on me and i dont see you getting all defensive like this over Alonso's disrespectful remarks about his old team histories 2nd best. whats the difference?

yeah i remember that race Button won quite well, I think you forget Kimi was in the equation until he hit Luizzi while trying to lap him.
all wins arent a given but intermitent races are luck of the draw , Button still hasnt won a normal dry race . Thats because of his car, he has talent to win thats for sure! But i would say so does Webber!

Webber came out with that scandalous comment before Nakajima was even signed as a test driver. The only reason why Nakajima isn't in a Toyota is because Toyota themselves decided to sign Timo Glock instead because he was the GP2 Champion.

Yeah, sorry about that. I think I meant to say "first" podium, but I was distracted or something. I dunno. I did check the statistics of 2007, so i must have just not been paying attention when I wrote that.

Well, yes, he is. They're a customer team. Not a B-Team. Super Aguri is a B-Team, Toro Rosso is a B-Team, ProDrive was going to be a B-Team. Williams is a customer team.

Alonso and McLaren is an entirely different and unrelated issue.

Well Kimi shouldn't have hit Liuzzi then, should he? Alonso didn't. Schumi didn't. Button didn't. I don't really see the relevance of that point. The afct is, he did hit him. That's just how the race played out.

The point is, Button has proved himself, Webber has not (For whatever reason, it's not relevant) and still has the cheek to insult Sir Frank's boys for no reason. He'll get no sympathy for a poor car from me.

[bud]

Regardless of when he said that, the signing of Naka kinda vindicates what he said, im sure Sir Frank wouldnt have signed him if he didnt "have" to.

and i brought up Alonso and McLaren because you got peeved off at what Mark said so why not the same emotion against Alonso? because the way i see your view here would make them both the same thing. an ex driver dissin on a history rich team...

Button hasnt proved himself, Ones never enough, and im sure he feels the same way! he would feel he has a hell of a lot to prove.
and i like how you say what ever reason is not relevant? hehe the reasons are relevant or else they woulndt be reasons.
Maybe one race this year Mark might get lucky in the wet and then he would have proven himself

[7UpJordan]

The only reason why Nakajima isn't in a Toyota is because they don't have eyes for talent like Sir Frank and the late Colin Chapman do, they brought in Glock because he was GP2 Champion, that's all. Nakajima has got potential and comes with the Toyota engine deal as a bonus and that is why Frank went for him. So maybe it's an Ace being played by Sir Frank? It may not look like it at the moment in some people's eyes, but he will come good eventually, as will Piquet.

That's the second time you've taken incorrect issue with something I've said Bud. The statement "for whatever reason, it's irrelevant", does not mean the reasons have no relevance themselves, just that what the reason is has no bearing on the discussion.

no bearing on the discussion in your opinion, i see otherwise.

Something I'll keep in mind when inevitable discussions take place later in the season

Anyway, Button has achieved something:

1st place - Hungary 2006
2nd place - San Marino 2004, Monaco 2004, Germany 2004, China 2004
3rd place - Malaysia 2004, Bahrain 2004, Europe 2004, Canada 2004, Italy 2004, Japan 2004, Germany 2005, Belgium 2005, Malaysia 2006, Brazil 2006

So that's hardly nothing. When you look at the fact that his best car was the 2004 BAR, it's expected that he has only won one race and in tricky conditions. But just look at 2007. He pushed that RA107 to places it should never have been able to go and scored six points with it.

Anyway, personally I have nothing against Webber, I quite like the fellow.

It was me speaking though, not you. Can you not tell the difference? Just because it's relevant in your opinion does not mean I felt the need to discuss it to make my point.

I'm getting sick of this Bud. This has more to do with you wanting to have a go at me than any desire to have some form of discussion about Webber

whatever sook!

i can try dumb it down to your level of abusing an F1 driver willingly not taking into account variables for his records and stats and saying he is s***. Jolly good show ole chap

[texasmr2]

Both fighter's to their seperate corner's ok and let's please get back to Webber and bud you started this whole tirade with your reply:

when will you blank out Button

<EDITED> It would be greatly appreciated if the both of you could let it go and agree to disagree, pretty please?

Now back to Webber it seem's to me he is hanging out with DC too much and learning some bad habit's !

And that's not just off track, Webber spun in the pitlane entrance at Melbourne last year in his first race alongside Coulthard.
