I would not be surprised to see Kovi talking to the boys in red.

Oh yeah? About what? The nice sun in Bahrain?

Could be, could be.
Or maybe about the price of onions, or the youth of today.
But I suspect it might be about the size of his current pay packet, "and would sir care to supersize that, with fries?"
No worries about any current contract either, not with Todt (officialy) running the FIA.

I think Ferrari has the best car of the grill. McLaren's car is very good, similar to Ferrari, but I think that nowadays the italian is best.

Raikkonen is a monster. In spite of he has win at the middle of the race he continues doing fast laps and risking in each curve. Hamilton has had a strong bone (Webber) and bad luck in box, however, he has showed his pottential.

Alonso, with a "small" car has done a very good race. He has been very regular and tried to risk a lot

God bless ya.

It was a very dull race, but I kind of guessed that after qualifying yesterday. It was clear Ferrari were a cut above the rest.

I think McLaren could have been closer in qualifying had they not have taken off some wing beforehand. In the race, things did not go to plan either. The five-place penalty was just and affected the team, being stuck behind traffic was unhelpful, and the spinner on the wheel causing issues all made for a pretty indifferent day for McLaren. The team have a lot of potential and recent seasons have shown McLaren can develop the car pretty quickly (although I can't see the team replicating quite the same ferocious pace with two inexperienced drivers; this is when you need somebody like Alonso in the team).

What happened to Massa was very peculiar but that there was nothing broken or the car and nothing showing on the telemetry can only indicate he dropped it - again. What James Allen said during the race was interesting as well: essentially that Massa likes to go light on fuel in qualifying in order to lead the race from the front. I wonder why - because he can't overtake.

There were some great drives outside the "big four" (for want of a better term) today. Kubica, Trulli and Fisichella put in great shifts, and Heidfeld was unlucky over the whole weekend, having the speed to get a better result.

Overall, there were some good drives, some who could feel hard-done-by, but the race was like watching paint dry. Bahrain will not be a lot better: it's a Ferrari track and they've tested there whilst nobody else (certainly of importance) did.

I think Toyota may have another decent weekend (at least, from Trulli) in Bahrain. They won't win anything, but solid points is certainly a possibility.

Totally agreed with the Heidfeld assestment, and for some reason when there's an Alonso and a Heidfeld near by they always put on a good clean show. But I think people shouldn't read much into Ferrari or Mclaren for the first two races. Ferrari got bite by the bad luck bug last week and McLaren got theirs this week, its too early to tell which team is more dominant, plus this is expected in a short race week with no time to prepare for a new setup. I've said all summer long and I will say it again, Ferrari & McLaren not only have to worry about each other but they will need to watch out for the boys from BMW, if they can get the setup perfectly for the F1.08, BMW will be crashing some parties this year. It should be a classic championship year, I see a three way battle.

Now that you mentioned Alonso, I have to say I love watching him drive. He pushes the car right to the limit all of the time, so that the back steps out a lot of the time. An awful person, but a great driver.

I was happy with the performance of the Ferrari's and Kimi's win, but I am most disappointed in Massa. I think he is on very shaky ground.
Also very happy for Kubica & BMW.
Looks like it was McLaren’s tern for an eventful race but it was still very fruitful for them & I am sure it was just a small hiccup.
But on the whole I was very disappointed with the race; it did not live up to what I expected & hoped for in entertainment value.

You could probably add Williams and To-yawn-ta and maybe others to that as well, To-yawn-ta with bad luck last week along with Ferrari, Williams with bad luck this week along with McLaren.

He seems to have got his head down so far this year and just concentrated on trying to get the best out of the car and showing signs of how many people including myself respected him in the first place.

Also, I just read James Allen's verdict to todays's GP. He claims that its KIMI V LEWIS for the title...
However in the background... picking away, Hekki's been picking away at things, getting results... he probs wnt last the full year, but you know.

two podium finishes for kovi is a good solid start. I can't see anybody but lewis or kimi because kovi isn't good enough yet and massa is an accident waiting to happen

Heikki's only had the one podium although in Melbourne he would have had P2 wrapped up if not for the last safety car. But theres no reason he wont have a shot at the title, he is very consistent.
Driver ability aside the title winning driver will depend on the development of the cars for their respective teams.

That was a pretty crap race, the exact opposite of last weekend both action and results wise. Rosberg could have done so much more if Glock hadn't sabotaged his race. Trulli was rather lucky to finish 4th considering he made a mess-up of his start as usual combined with Hamilton and Heidfeld's cruel luck. Really surprised by the amount of mistakes Massa's making, he's going to need to sharpen up. Hope Bahrain is much better in terms of just about everything, and hopefully Lewis and the Williams cars will go much better there.

May of been a boring race but the result is a million times better than that of last week. :D

Congrats to FIAt.

Correction. Congrats to FERRARI. GET IT RIGHT!

And Massa, he is sh!t, Ferrari need to end his contract at the end of the year and perhaps get Alonso.

In some countries, journalists say that next year Ferrari will contract Vettel, and he'll be the second driver.

It wouldn't have been so bad it one of the Williams were 4th instead of Trulli's Toy-waste-of-grid-space-ta and if Webber hadn't been such a pain in the arse.

In what way do you deem Webber to have been a pain in the arse?
