I am an African American who was contemplating going over seas to see my first live F1 race, and Spain was one of my choices. However after this weekend I am reconsidering that choice. Not to say that Spain is a bad place to travel and I am sure that not all Spaniards have the mentality of those few throwbacks that attended this weekend. You still have a few throwbacks in the USA. These people who got to see just the testing action up close and personal for FREE (open to the public I believe). Something that I would be extremely excited about. However if I pay thousands of dollars/euros to travel to see a race and have someone in the stand shouting racial slurs... that would diminish the entire experience. If it is a contention or issue elsewhere then it may cause me or other that are new and not as die hard to give up on the sport. Especially in the US because there are only a handful of fans anyway. If I tell my friends about the sport and they looked at it over the past couple of days, they would say, why are you endorsing a sport that allows this sort of situation??? Whatever dude??? My point is that I really like formula one, but I don't want to be ashamed of admitting that if things like this occur. I hope this doesn't sound like whining. It just saddens me.

I only want to say that Lewis has worked hard and he has deserved everything he has gotten, it aint easy being cheesy!:lol: I am also disgusted with the spaniard's antic's but hate beget's nothing but hate right, I hope to see the day when a man/person will hopefully take a moment to realize that negative gesture and make it a positive
