I do love our jousts Ron me old chum but I have to say that

1. Why has Hamilton beaten Alonso when they both finished on the same points. If Hamilton is proud of this fact then he should remember that
a. Second is the first loser
b. He made the biggest cock-up in F1 history in Interlagos (even Eddie Irvine couldn't blow it)

2.How could they have equal equipment after Japan when the atrocious weather conditions came into effect.Your namesake said himself they would have to import another engine from Woking to Shanghai

I wasnt aware I had any jousts with you

Hamilton finished 2nd, Alonso 3rd

the point was not who won, but who won between Alonso and Hamilton

You have gone Spanish on us

Yes Ron the point was "who won".Kimi is the champ , Hamilton and Alonso both finished on the same number of points. If Hamilton wants to take any sort of glory whatsoever for finishing second then he is only embarrasing himself and the sport. He made the biggest and most monumental pig's ear of it that I have ever seen. Some say it was justice , I prefer to think of it as lack of experience. Also I'm not spanish, I just believe in standing up for the good guy

I'm not sure that I'd agree that being the most sucessful ever F1 rookie, beating your 2xWDC team mate, and coming second overall on your first attempt is really anything to be embarrassed about. Like him or not, he's decent in an F1 car.

Ron mate , it's time to start listening to the man. The only reason Schuey is even thinking about coming back is because Fernando "The Greatest" Alonso won't be in a competitive seat next year.Forget Hamiilton, Raikkonen, PDR , Massa. Why not give F1 fans what we really want?A head to head joust with the most successful driver ever to get behind the wheel of an F1 car against the only guy who could beat him(twice).Alonso vs Schumacher again would be just mouthwatering, You never know Michael might actually win one this time.Personally , I am (or was) an avid McLaren man but the thought of the guy we Brits love to hate returning would be great for the sport all round.Bring it on I say

Yeah Hamilton never had Alonso hand him points on a platter at the end of the season. remember China where Massa made that pitstop from 3rd with a few laps to go handing Kimi 1 point.
And Brazil where Massa said himself he handed Kimi the win another 2 points there.

3 points due to team orders which are meant to be illegal and Kimi won by 1 point.

DC on Schumi's test pace

"For those who doubted Michael's quality even for a moment, he has lost nothing."

Coulthard, who at 36 is the oldest driver on the gird, explained that Schumacher's display proves there is more to racing than youthful exuberance.

"It shows that age does not matter - if he was back in Formula One, he would be at the front."

The former McLaren driver, who was in a jovial mood, also recommended the German to his former employers: "If McLaren is still looking for a driver, Michael would be a fantastic solution.

"Just as Paul McCartney can never unlearn great music, Michael will never forget how to drive a car damn fast."

in the last couple of e-mails Ron I've tolerated references to being from another country. There is no place on this forum for that sort of behaviour it should be a universal site but if you want to spout stuff like that then may I remind you that on Saturday afternoon the Scottish football team require to beat the world champions Italy in Scotland to qualify for the Euro 2008 championships whereas England's qualifying hopes are all but gone. How do you like dem apples sonny jim?

Hakkinen quit F1 because he feared the sport was becoming too dangerous. That is not the kind of former champ I will be looking up to
