my thinking is that nh and jb have had plenty of chances in f1 with over 100 starts its not about their age. what about people like gary paffet he has been a test driver for years he may be just as fast as LH on the track but just has not been given the chance to even to try because button, fisi etc won't go and allow somebody a chance to show what they can do

Uh, MH anybody? First race in 1991, champion in 1998 with by then over 100 starts.

The difference is people knew Hakkinen was a class act and people now know Heidfeld has a quality. Button's ability is in dispute.

Good point DD but better point Mclaren Fan! I don't dispute that JB and NH are good drivers but I don't think they are good enough to win a world title

1. Ralf Shumacher
2. Fisichella .
3.Barichello
4 Kimi
5. Massa
6. Alonso

LOL you have a very blind and twisted sense of humour. I take it you're a Hamilton fan

Ralf should retire and Fisichella too. Coulthard should have done it a while ago... But Button still has at least 5 yers and Heidfeld just beat a younger Kubica and the rest of the younger lads not in a Mclaren or Ferrari.

Barrichelo and Button have what Honda needs: experience to improve their car... and then they can be appealing to "faster" drivers.

Kimi and Alonso are the best drivers in F1 right now.

Darwin just a question why do you refer to drivers and people in the sport by their initials? are you lazy too lazy write a name? :P

I'd rather use initials (pretty common on most boards) than type Kimi Matias Räikkönen or Mika Pauli Häkkinen - yes! :D

I'm not sure why Jenson's ability should be in dispute. At the end of 2006, it certainly wasn't, and to base this on his 2007 performance is just wrong. He was one of the better drivers out there, his equipment badly let him down.

Having said that, I think next year is massive for Jenson.
