i kind of messed up how i set out my stats when jotting them down, I should have started with 2000 and 2001 finishing second

Nothing on the McLaren has been inspired by Ferrari. This is just silliness from your mind – the car was the most scrutinized in 2007! The designs are completely different, hign nose long wheelbase….oh but yeah maybe they copied the rear mounted engine and 4 wheel principle?
And also now we have it that Nick is too good for McLaren? That is just laughable if it went for the fact that you seem as though you have convinced yourself of this! Where do you get off on declaring a second rate driver being too good to the second most successful F1 team in F1, the most successful in the 20th century and the winners of this years WDC? Oh and possible winners of the WDC if the FIA has played fair!
The evolution of (some of) the Ferrari fans attitudes over the last 12 month is quite amazing. From “yeah Schumacher/Ferrari cheat but we don’t careâ€

Then they came out of nowhere with the ultra fast and reliable MP4-22, which later turned out to be "Inspired" by Ferrari. McLaren Fan is right. A class act driver like Heidfeld would never sign with a team like McLaren under the current circumstances.

Only the car, as said even by FIA-Ferrari was not inspired with any Ferrari technology, nor did I ever say Heidfeld should not sign for McLaren. My beef is not with how good McLaren are etc. it's with the team's consistency in putting out a world championship winning car for longer than a season.

I'd agree with this totally. Certain drivers wouldn't want to drive for McLaren out of principal...

demure youre such a tool you seriously are! thats putting it nicely ;)

I love hearing lambs bah on about McLaren were all the sudden fast this year all becuase of a dossier recieved in March 07 when the f***ing car was designed in 06!

the one i love the most is why McLaren were all the sudden reliable they must have got that from the Ferrari dossier aswell, funny Ferrari werent that reliable this year they must have forgot how to read their own bloody information

McLaren were coned into last year’s car, I’ll have to publish that story sometime

but

2001 Second in Drivers and Constructors
2002 Second in Drivers and Constructors
2003 Third Constructors
2004 Disastrous start with strong car by the end of the season
2005 10 wins in the season - more than any other team
2006 Were fooled into building a car around the single race tyre strategy
2007 Won the WDC and second in the drivers due to the other team using illegal team orders

its not that bad.....and remember that Ferrari had a s*** time during the late 70's, 80's and 90's but no one suggested NOT driving for them!

Its actually a little worse then you stated.

2002 Fifth & Sixth in drivers and Third in Constructors.

2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 5th, 2nd, 3rd, Last. It seemed like there being dragged behind like an old shoe, eating off the crumbs. Then they came out of nowhere with the ultra fast and reliable MP4-22, which later turned out to be "Inspired" by Ferrari. McLaren Fan is right. A class act driver like Heidfeld would never sign with a team like McLaren under the current circumstances.

Yeah right :lol::lol::lol:
Thay wouldnt want to drive for McLaren, Get real!

You know some driver's actually have moral's, ethic's and standard's and just like us they may not want to drive for a certain team strictly because they think a team is lacking the qualitie's I mentioned . Thus they do not want to tarnish their image.

I'm not looking for a reaction just saying that's it's more likely than not that there are driver's who have this opinion and outlook but it's only my speculation.

There is not a single driver who would not want to drive for McLaren

I say that with the same confidence of telling you that the sun will come up in the morning

This may very well be true but since neither you nor I know any of them personaly and how they feel it's only your opinion and not fact.

you guys are absolutely pathetic talking up "the moral ground" of not driving for McLaren! what utter rubbish.

guess Renaults imoral now aswell? a company reputation is tarnished by the wrongdoings of one employee makes them imoral then Ferrari is just as imoral with one dodgy employee of their own!

get off your f***ing high horse! funny the ones im referring to are Ferrari f***s! guess years of being accused of cheating has made you turn around and use the cheat word when ever you can.

so you've resolved nothing. of course we're not going to be able to know for sure, but the desire to win is in the blood of any F1 driver. therefore if given the opportunity they will go to the car that gives them the best chance of winning. it's a shame there's not more loyalty in F1 nowadays but there it is

I was never trying to resolve anything I just said that I believe that one's personal moral's and ethic's MAY lead them to not go to a team, heck that team could be Ferrari, I never pointed finger's at McLaren.

I find it amusing that anyone can take the moral high ground from the gutter

What are you saying RD, I'm in the gutter? :?
