You just said my claims are erratic - so why dont you show that they are by confirming that Kimi was on half Alonsos wage and that the Todt era was a more typical era for Ferrari than not. See thats how it works - I say something, you make an objection and then demonstrate why your objection is valid

So! erratic should be easy enough to prove

:hooli-popcorn:

Yes erratic, you seem to be very angry at Ferrari lashing out at them for no reason that I can see and in the other thread it seemed that you couldn't understand a simple correction claiming a couple of times that 6 litre engines were the real deal! and also with Raikkonen's salary being equal to Alonso's as a swipe at Ferrari. So erratic, more erratic than usual perhaps may be better stated.

So if you are reluctant to post what you know about Kimi's salary, I had thought that Kimi was making about half with Alonso on 20M or so. Here is a link I found.

http://kimiraikkonenspace.com/2014/02/0 ... -salaries/

"Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton are the two highest paid drivers in Formula 1 this year according to a report by The Richest.

Alonso, starting his fifth year as a Ferrari driver, and Hamilton, in his second year with Mercedes, are reportedly each earning €20 million, with McLaren’s Jenson Button and quadruple wortld champion Sebastian Vettel banking €16 million from Red Bull.

Interestingly Kimi Raikkonen, who returns to Ferrari, is driving for €10 million this year half what his teammate Alonso is pocketing. The Finn was the last driver to win the world title for Ferrari when he did so back in 2007 during his first stint with the Maranello outfit."

Your source is an unofficial Kimi site and the quote is from before the season even started - i.e :bs: which is what I associate with your posts tbf

My source is the goto source for all the media as far as driver salaries so as usual you just dont understand the info you have available, how many sources do you think are taken seriously? A Kimi danboy site written even before he started vs the place the whole media quotes from almost at the end of the season when details are more avaliable?
Nope you are again behaving like a :loser: its not hard to Google AND then engage the brain to filter whats what?

The annual list of F1 salaries has again been published, and while Ferrari's Fernando Alonso remains top, he has now been joined by team-mate Kimi Raikkonen and Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel.

The information - complied by Business Book GP2014 and reported on TomorrowNewsF1.com - reckons all three are now on around €22 million, with Kimi Raikkonen gaining considerably after moving from Lotus to the Scuderia. Vettel's income has also increased substantially in the wake of his fourth F1 Drivers' title in a row.

Here's a report looking at how much value for money the drivers were. ...I.e how much each point they scored cost the team. And you see from the list that Vettel, Alonso and Raikonene are all on more money than Lewis.

I'm pretty sure that link is inaccurate, I understood that Kobayashi was driving for free, while Maldonado is having his seat paid for him by Venezuelan Oil. I also find it amazing that Ricciardo was only being paid 750k while Vettel was on 22m given their relative performance,

Yup, I hear you MOA, its a crazy world, can anyone imagine Button on 15 mill vs Ricc on less than a mill?

At least JB was better value than Raikkonen by 800k/point... so by that reckoning, JB should go to Ferrari while Raikkonen goes back to rallying!

Exactly my point - Ferrari have kept Kimi instead of Alonso on equal wage - foolish - could be why MnM got sacked

and then we got the usual Mea Culpa from the Ferrari fans who were happy to dream in lalaland that Kimi was on half Alonsos wage - as if that makes any difference to the context of my post anyway,

But we are waiting for OB to demonstrate that the Todt era wont look like the abberation in ferraris record of sustained periods of efficiency and success

We will probably get lies and distractions instead though

What is with you tonight Cooking!? I had asked you a simple question about Raikkonen's salary which I had thought was about half of Alonso's and you are turning it into some kind of court case. Perhaps you should find a way to be calmer.

In any case I am pleasantly surprised at the salary report you have provided. It looks like Ferrari had respected Raikkonen's achievements at Lotus and had considered him to be one of the elite four drivers at the end of 2013 which his driving did demonstrate imo. And also Ferrari by having him back were probably making amends for the disservice done to Raikkonen in 2009. It puts Ferrari in a better light I would say. Too bad Raikkonen had such a terrible year, hopefully he can rebound next season.

And tbf you are entitled to your opinions regarding my posts but they are of little concern to me!

Im glad you have learnt something

i was focussing on Ferraris recent Mea Culpas based on Sebs arrival at Maranello talking about the fairy tales and the magic, and pointed out that he would have to beat Kimi by a larger amount as Alonso otherwise the whole affair would not sit well in the history books

So thats my opinion, and as usual its based on the facts available - you may prefer a nicer opinion about the magical ferrari but thats for you to provide, I dont make things up to have a pop at poor Ferrari, I have a pop at Ferrari about the latest news to arrive from the fairy tale. So unless you think I am wrong on something (try and actually research it first) then perhaps its best to ignore it and dont read it.

If you wanna discuss this particular current news then just answer this question = with Sebs arrival and his immediate talk about the magic and the fantasy - just like Alonso before him - what do think has to happen for this to be seen as a successful move for Seb, and a wise move for Ferrari - bearing in mind that the history books will point to those facts we have now - that Alonso and not Kimi were allowed to leave despite getting paid the same, and that Alonso was replaced by Seb on at least much more, if not the double amount?
Remember Seb is on a 3 year deal - what would have to pan out in the next 3 years for this not to down as the biggest Mea Culpa even for Ferarri considering there history of rash political sacking/hirings - and what would need to happen for it to be comparable in any way to the German MS plus Todt and Brawn era?

What news is this cookin? I don't see it mentioned nor being discussed in this thread. Maybe you are carrying something over in your mind from another thread or forum?

This kind of thing makes it hard at times to understand your posts when you are responding to some unknown stimulus and have what appears to be a random outburst. This might explain alot actually.
