But you can't use your phone abroad for data, you have to turn data off. That's what everyone told me. Otherwise it's really expensive.
And my phones stupid. If it was an iPhone it might work.

Whilst most mobile companies in Europe will r@pe you for roaming (data usage outside your country of origin) most networks will sell you daily bundles - for example I think Vodafone charge £3 for a days unlimited data.

But as WB said, sounds like you are having too much fun with random men.

It's all a ruse to continue meeting "nice" men. The damsel in distress is a proven technique.

Phone data is expensive abroad but a bunch of the network providers offer pretty good deals now for data when abroad especially Vodafone.

I think it's towards the end of this year when there will be no extra roaming charges when abroad in any EU country which will be very handy.

Yeah, Vodafone normally do decent European deals. I paid £20 for unlimited data for 7 days.

That sounds so promiscuous lol

On the other hand....we have someone there to be a timely (and highly motivated) streaker...to bring the SC out when we need it. :groucho:

So I have to contact my provider, I'm not sure who it is , it's a funny name and I don't know the number. Then pay for a bundle to use data to get maps on a phone with no internal memory and a tiny screen. nah. That's a bad idea. When I suggested getting maps on a phone to my sister her response was. " are they havin a laugh?"

Anyway, maps weren't needed  I'll tell you after my shower.

Beds and showers are everyday necessities! I've also mentioned mobile phones and maps.
Oh but that shower was good!!! It was unbelievably hot and sticky today and we were sitting in full sun.

Now. Today's story. We got up , slightly jaded, and went to breakfast about 7.30 ready to meet our escorts, when what should meet outpr eyes but A WHOLE ROOM FULL of nice young men with team Tshirts on . Which ones were ours? Difficult. It seems the Russian Time team are in our hotel ...all of them, loads! Eventually we did find our ones and the duly got us to the track bless them! And we must have been a good omen because Mitch Evans won today!! We were cheating him on, he drove great .

On the way from the car park to the track we passed a campsite. Now F1 campsites are very familiar with me, but whereas at Silverstone they are strewn with heaters and gazebos and paraphernalia
to combat the rain, on this campsite there were blow up dolls, swimming pools and water squirters. We got squirted when we walked past, and we got the offer of using the swimming pool. Pictures to follow. I can't get them off the camera and into the iPad, I have to do a weird thing.

Observations on Hokenheim. Very easy to get to, especially with an escort. Everyone very friendly. Well organised. Parking easy. Seemed more red bull fans than Mercedes fans, but maybe Mercedes fans are just more discreet. Not the atmosphere of Silverstone, but not bad and whilst we had great seats , just as they come into the stafium , there wasn't the action you see at the new Silverstone loop. Saw a couple if overtakes in the Gp2. That was a good race.

Distraught over Lewis! Can't talk about that. Going to the bar now.

Oh yeah. Cheering him on. That's a combination of my poor spelling and the iPad trying to second guess me all the time.
