Where can we find news about Lotus, if there is any? I google lotus f1 and it's all old articles from early december. I really hope they get everything straightened out so we can see maldonado become the world champion that he is.

We are getting to the business end of the waiting and anticipating

Merc bang on time, quietly confident
Lotus, wont make the all important first test
RBR - needed more time to get car ready
McLaren - Italian paper Omnicourse saying that they have made last minute big change to rear suspension, and they might not be ready for Jerez or might be but with a standard suspension

SHAKE AND BAKE TIME!!!!!!

I love this time of year. It is that moment when a car gets unveiled with a pot noodle tub on its side pod, everything goes mad as people try to work out what it is and how it affects the car

This year though there is a real 'unknown' and exciting air about it. Its conceivable that the cars could look and sound very different. This Mclaren rear suspension could be a real physical departure from anything we seen so far. Its like going to your first race, should be like this each year. I reckon Ferrari will have a surprise of some sort, the car will look sharpest, maybe different surface angles and curvatures

I think the last time a team wow-ed everyone at an unveiling is WIlliams, with that absurd hippo nose in 2004 if not mistaken. Very different, and exciting. Hope we see something very different again this month!

I thought the McLaren unveiling of the MP4-26 was one of the more creative ones of recent times.

I wasn't referring to the style of unveiling, but the car itself. The F-duct you could hardly see anything anyway, the exhaust stickers....hmmm. No biggie, just a way to hide some tasty secrets.

I think BMW's 'twin towers' on their front nose was another recent contraption which drew weary eyes.

The red bull slot in the stepped nose.

I just love all the different ideas that people come up with.

The Renault front exhausts as well

Don't forget BAR's double fuel tank. Or Renault's funky front nose suspension thingy. :P
