I drink the instant stuff, usually supermarket own brands or occasionally a well known brand if it's on offer. Having tasted some of the high falutin stuff I don't think I'm missing out.

One persons good taste is another ones bad taste but I apologise for not wasting my cash on expensive teas and coffees.

No need to apologize for your lack of taste, but why waist your cash on supermarket brands when the dishwater will suffice. :coffee:

It has been long thought that recurrent kidney stone formers should avoid the intake of coffee and tea, as they both contain varying amounts of oxalate. It was also thought that the use of caffeinated beverages would lead to a relative degree of dehydration and increased kidney stone production. It has now been shown that the amount of oxalate in coffee and tea is actually relatively low and that caffeine affects a particular hormone in the kidney (antidiuretic hormone) in such a way that it leads to production of a more dilute urine thereby decreasing the risk of kidney stone formation. The data currently suggest that drinking a single 8 oz. cup of coffee per day can decrease a patient's risk of kidney stones by approximately 10%, while with tea, the rate drops by 8%.

Something i never want to exprience again.

I dont drink tea or coffee. I like coffee but there's something in it.

Many years ago I passed a stone through my salivary glad. Not nearly at painful I'm sure, but the human body is capable of some weird stuff indeed.

Dont much like the sound of that.
I have no idea how long i was in hospital as i was out of it on morphine the whole time. The drugs for relaxing certain parts also have a really unexpected effect, quite worrying the first time it happens and a real WTF moment.

Grab a coffee in the shops? No way absolute rip- off

Depends. I'm happy to spend £3 for a big coffee and a beautiful smile to start my day off.

I know I could get up 15mins earlier and make my own at home. But why bother if I can pay someone to do it for me.

Besides, some of us just like helping the economy go 'round and 'round!! :wavey:

There are two I go to on my journey to work. Both have very friendly staff, and the fact the girls in there look so nice, especially for 7am, is an absolute wonder. And always brightens up my day! :D

Is Costa's the Brit version of Starbuck's, or more like Tim Horton's here in Canada. :coffee:

No, Tim Horton's is so far superior to both Costa and Starbucks it's not even in sight! Nothing beats a bag of Timbits!! :) I would book a holiday to go back to Canada just to go to Tim Horton's every morning!! :)

You should meet my American gf, she loves the stuff. I do like the food .... donuts, sammi's and especially the chili, but the coffee leaves a lot to be desired.
