Yeah they need to make some commotion at least. I'm still waiting to see some form of protest...maybe I'm just too restless since its been less than 24 hours since the clowns turned the YDT into a team test.

I now follow the FIA o twitter. Just so I can give them poo!! Might just go and give them some now!!

Go get em, the one team that's done something that might've resulted in a positive outcome for the tyre fiasco is the one that's penalised (I accept their motives might not have been entirely selfless btw) and it was already one of their drivers that got handed a penalty cos an exploding tyre broke his gearbox.

But Ferrari had all the support from the FIA, the sport almost needed Ferrari to stay financially viable. Now we can see that happening with another team... This is just the start.

terms of the German GP I predict Di Resta will actually get to qualify this race, then some flying pigs will attack him on the first corner. Also Webber to win.

Hoping webber wins since he's done it here before

And if he doesn't manage to, you can count on the Mighty Morphin Mercs. You know...the team which recently morphed from being tyre shredders to tyre owners.

hahahaahahhaahhahaha! get it!?

anyone??...anyone?

Easy tiger, dont upset those still waiting for Mercs traditional slump

dunno maybe this year now they have started copying the winning teams with secret tests, protests from other teams, tribunals, 'is it flexing or not' type controversies, swapping tyres etc it might be different

Maybe they will be found out for running an illegal suspension next

Seems it was McLaren who reported this to the FIA. So normally McLaren would then lodge a complaint against the Lotus racing at Silverstone with an illegal suspension, leading to a punishment.

But nothing happened. Makes sense If McLaren had got Lotus excluded it would have helped their direct rivals Force India and Williams. Williams could have scored points

Shocking breach of the rules and getting away with it

Its a farce!

Sauber were done for a small hole that infringed the rules, because the scrutineers spotted it, but Lotus go scott free because the scrutineers didnt do their jobs correctly?

And sheep supporters are getting their knickers in twists about Mercs punishment for an unintentional infingement?

There's a difference between a small hole and a few days tyre testing.
