He's not a god, he's black.
Okay, I jest, but you can't tell me you wouldn't have rather him stay at Mclaren. If this year wasn't proof of what a driver can bring to the table then I don't know what would do it. He's not a god, but he was able to bring a car from the back of the grid and finish one spot ahead of his teammate. He was also able to put a car on the podium when his teammate was finishing outside of the points or not even making it to Q2. He's certainly not a god because Vettel could probably do that too. Alonso, (probably Massa would be asked to move out of the way) as well. But in terms of getting the most out of your car when your car isn't the dominant car on the grid. In other words, make the best of a bad situation (like Alonso did this year) Lewis will be missed at Mclaren.
All that remains to be see is how much of an impact he can make at Mercedes. It's not like he's moving to Marrussia after all.
Ok I give in, Lewis is a god who drives an F1 car beyond the laws of physics. In fact he doesn't need a car he can fly around the track in his race suit, setting purple sectors 5 seconds clear of the rest.
McLaren will be fine you're making too many assumptions. They have a strong car to build on, Mercedes on the other hand don't.

"I don't want to be part of a forum where everyone has differing opinions." Boom...
