How can you call Massa "average"?

In my book you are either lousy, average or great.

Now tell me where you would put Massa.

Do you ever remember Senna making such a pig's ear of his first couple of seasons of F1 drives.

Now that was a great driver - always at the very top, no matter what he was racing.

There have been a few worthy champions who didn't quite make it despite being at least as worthy as those who did actually make it. Notable examples are Hill (94) and Mansell (89?). However I think the most unworthy champion is likely to be Hamilton who has had all the greatest opportunities fall out of a Christmas cracker for him and currently looks a strong contender to have this years championship fall out of the next one he pulls. This may seem like I am jealous but I do see a number of great drivers working their arse off and getting no where while Hamilton is getting all the greatest opportunities in the world given him by Ron Dennis. I don't doubt for a second that if Ferrari offer him a competitive car and more money than McLaren that Ron will find himself looking for a new driver after investing a fortune on this spoilt kid to have a great deal of fun. Sure most people will disagree, but at least Jacques Villeneuve agree on something after all the nonsense Villeneuve has come out with he has finally said something truthful recently.
