Is EVERY thread going to be taken up by this McLaren bullpoo.

Its happened. Its in the past. Lets move on, and talk about something else. At least in ONE thread.

For the record, Im not a big fan of this track. I find corners 14 and 15 quite tricky, and can never get them perfect. Although corners 7 and 8 feel great when taken flat out.

My favourite corners in the game has always been 1,2 and 3. And the old final two corners, which they have destroyed to make this track even lamer than it was before. At least it had a great flow last time (albeit boring racing), now we have these stop startish end to the lap which I never understood why.

I think that Mark Webber will win this race, going by the trend of different drivers winning races, especially given Red Bull's sudden resurgence!

Kimi, I think. A different constructor has also won each race, so naturally Lotus must win next.

No way it can be Kimi. Barcelona favors horsepower, plus cooler conditions which won't play into Lotus' hands.

I think it's a straight fight between Redbull (superior aero) and McLaren (superior engine) with Mercedes fighting with Lotus for the 5/6 slots.

Lotus' pace was really good in (cold) China. It was strategy that cost them a good result.

I think that this one will be decided between Vettel and Hamilton, just like last year.

I wouldn't bet on that, the way this season is going, Paul di Resta could win it, and you can never count out Jenson with his 'long game' strategy!

Whatever the situation, it's great the new regs are here, and it's in classic borefests like Barcelona that this really shows. 2011 was the first really good Spanish GP in ages.

I dont like this track at all. I guess it wont be as bad as usual with the fragile pirelli's  We'll have some manufactured excitment...which is better than no excitment..perhaps.I think the Lotus's will be good again. Hope so.

You haven't been enjoying the racing this season then?

Yes, but Id rather have less action and more racing, real racing.
But lets leave that for the pirelli thread.
I think its a boring track, its at the bottom of my track list along with Valencia. Nothing against Sapnish tracks, it just happens they have to bad ones. Jerez anyone?

OK, well you can't claim to really enjoy a race this season then, which I'm sure you've been doing! :P:wink:

I have enjoyed the races. Its a bit like comparing a day at Disneyland with a walk in a National park. Both enjoyable, but one very manufactured for cheap thrills.

The problem is not the track. With the exception of the street circuits there should be overtaking at every track without the need for artificial aides. The problems lie with the cars but this is all part of the evolution of F1. To sort the issues with the cars that prevent overtaking would be seen by many as a step backwards.

In America, national parks are free to get in, and Disney is like $400 dollars for a family of four to get in for the day. :hehe:
