Currently sitting relieved with a cup of tea after worrying all night - one of my friends had gone missing for over 30 hours. He's married with kids and has a history of depression, and this time of year with the temperature outside it looked very serious and ominous. The police were round at the doors of everyone he knows to see if they could find him. Thankfully he was found safe at about 5am this morning. Mind you he might not be so safe when his wife gets hold of him...

Take away the history of depression and that happens to me ALL the time. :hehe:

Seriously though ZA, glad your friend is at least physically okay. Perhaps a good conversation will help bring things back into perspective for him.

I was clearing it but it was only a centimetre or so. We've got off lightly so far this winter.

Just properly read your new sig, andrew. Subliminal.

I'm in London at the moment and the snow I spoke of earlier did not last. However, when I make my glorious return to Lancashire tomorrow... it may well be a wholly different story....

Yeah, I was pretty worried as were a number of us who were up all night waiting on any news either from him or the police, was a big relief to know he was safe.

Bud - still not sure to be honest, I've heard a kind of half-story but I'm not convinced it's the truth so I'll wait and see what more comes out if anything. Sorry to be cryptic!

Didn't last? It didn't fall in the first place!

It's only a light dusting but on bald tyres it is interesting/fun. The temperature is due to rocket up in the middle of the week so it won't last.

London's a big place. According to leading scientists and meteorologists snow can be very localised.

:bs: Snow falls where I say it falls!

I live in the North eastern corner of London. Last segment of the Central Line to be SLIGHTLY more specific. And it snowed briefly.
