I am worried this might be a disappointing race. With all this BS talk about lewis and fernando racing for 2nd, where the hell is the fun in that. I just hope button and even to some degree roseberg/schumi/massa TRY to take advantage of this lack of drive.

I'm going to be there, cheering on McLaren, so Lewis better had give it everything, or he'll have me to answer to. :whip:

I'm sure he's shaking in his boots now :P

Definitely! I can feel the earth tremors as we speak.....

Beside the pesimistic statements by the drivers, Martin was somewhat positive about the new upgrades that they'll bring in silverstone, I have one last hope and I'm anxious to see the the new pace standards after the ban! if Vettel has again a walk to the win then it's really over for this year..... :irked:

Webber believes the rule changes 'won't turn f1 upside down'

'All the teams have to adapt and see what they can do to do the best out of it. I don't think it is going to turn the field upside down. I think everyone will still be in reasonable shape. McLaren and Ferrari are fast, we know that. We are quick but the changes, whether they will turn the championship around, I think it is unlikely.'

Am i wrong is seriously hoping that they will effect Redbull more then the rest of the teams? i like Redbull and believe Vettel is a very talented driver but is a close competition too much to ask for?!?!

I don't really care what happens. IMO, Red Bull don't deserve to be knocked back simply for building a brilliant car. They've done an amazing job with it.

I know we all love a close competition, but those who've watched F1 long enough will know that every so often, one team dominates. That's motor racing. Ferrari have dominated, McLaren have and Williams have. Now its Red Bull's turn. Let history unfold....they won't be at this level forever, mark my words.... things are always changing in this sport....

But things aren't changing next year, redbull need to be caught at least this season, that way we might have a close fight next season.

All im saying is that i would rather have a seasons where its close then having someone miles ahead (yes i know its not definate that Vettel will win the WDC but its looking more and more certain as each race goes by) but maybe i wouldnt be saying this if Mclaren we're so far ahead..i guess its favouritism (oh well :hehe: )

But that said wouldnt it be more satisying if Mclaren snatched it by a whisker. And especially by cunning strategy and excellent driving. Much better than ruinning ahead by a country mile with a superior machine
