Out of all their failures so far which is uncountable, Mercedes would be responsible for engine related failures...which were many in the 90s but since 2005, the Merc was considered one of the best if not the best engine to have in Formula 1.
I'm sure you won't resort to blaming Mercedes for the strategic, pitstops, fueling, and general aero uncompetitiveness of McLaren on Mercedes as well would you. I mean, 1 World Championship in 13 years compared to none in 3 years as a full outfit is definitely a fantastic statistic which you should be proud of.
Considering Mercedes were the majority owners in McLren for most of Lewis's career it's rather pathetic of his new teams owners too... Oh wait one win in 3 years, not pathetic at all!
