And just so you guys know, I was rooting AGAINST Lewis overtaking Webber yesterday as it would have meant squat in the points battle but it would have made a world of difference in our fantasy pool.

I was rooting for Lewis as I had Webber down for fourth place in the pool!

:hehe: Alonso cost me massive points when he overtook Webber. :irked:

Practise 2 Excellent!!! Lewis standing up for himself. Team asked him to box, he said why, they said for a set up change, he said no I want to stay out as it is. Should have done more of this sooner Lewis!!
And he goes fastest by six tents. VINDICATION!!!
Button a second down.

Just read something on the BBC practice feed which made me chuckle. The subject is serious, as he is talking about the differences in wealth between the last week and this weeks country, and his work with Unicef, trying to make a difference. But the bit in bold made me chuckle

My visit will make the smallest of differences, if at all, but it all starts with one step. I've always wanted to be someone, who, you know, like when you put a pebble in the pond and it makes ripples. I want to be one of those pebbles, and then others follow. There are loads of people doing great things in the world and it is no skin off my teeth to go and do that for two days, it was incredible. I really enjoyed it

(I also like the fact he has ambition, and wants to be a pebble)

Interesting...the options don't seem to be an advantage over the primes. If Lewis can hold an advantage in P3 it would be a no brainer to qualify and start on the primes even if it means qualifying 3rd or 4th.

5 place penalty? Or do they use a different gearbox during practice.

It was just a wheel issue though, wasnt it, and not an actual fault with the box...?

It was the steering wheel but apparently it's related to the gear box, so,I don't no what uuywill happen.

Yeah it was the fact that one of the paddles wasnt working. so he was having to shift up and down with a single paddle, instead of up with left, and down with right. I believe.

He wan't to be a pebble? Fair enough.

The poor chap needs a new script writer - it's no skin off yer nose not yer teeth. Will Whitmarsh stop at nothing? Mysterious breakdowns and now funny typos in his scripts!
