The other tyres look ok, and, if you look closely at the front wing (back part) closest bit to where the tyre came apart you can see damage. Looks like some pieces of that wing ripped into the tyre?

more likely the torn tire ripped into the wing.

Anyway, will it be possible for teammates to boost each other during the race using the MRW?!

Anyone?

Well, how do you mean? I don't think they'll be a boost if they keep swapping around, but yeah, I guess one team mate can come up behind another and use the rear wing to go faster without evasive action because the other team mate got out of the way.

You could certainly save fuel by following your teammate and letting him tow you down the straight, then, you get to run the last 600 meters, (more than an eighth of race distance at Barcelona) with far less drag.

^^^ Toyota and Red Bull ran something similar back in 2009, if i remember correctly. It simply helps disperse air from that diffuser area of the car...

Massa wins Bahrain GP

A bit of fun from PlanetF1 :-)

That was great... I feel they should have charged admission and 10 bucks for a beer to complete the realism of reading the article.

LOL pretty realistic stuff all around....but Ferrari 1-2?? Change that to a Redbull 1-2 and Ferrari 3-4, and I might've thought there really was a race and I missed it.

Hey everyone!

Neither McLaren or Red Bull have been out since lunch. Some teams have already done 100 laps. Red Bull have only done 33 and McLaren 38.

I know McLaren is doing a precautionary engine change, so I expect Jenson will be back out soon. But, does anyone know why Red Bull aren't out?
