I thought McLaren were bringing some big upgrades to the aero's to Spain,


McLaren's update strategy was incremental, bringing something smaller to every race, so the other teams were always going to make a bigger relative step forward at Spain.

Quite surprised by that, you don't usually see Nick making errors like that. I don't think it was a car problem, though.

The pace being set by the various teams is quite interesting at the moment. Williams aren't looking as fast at the moment, but that could be that they're running heavier fuel loads in preparation for Q3 which is something they really need to improve on if they want to start getting opportunities to win races. Brawn are looking good on both tyre compounds, so it's looking like their updates are quite good.

The Ferraris are perhaps the most interesting cars to watch today. They've been running fairly fast, but I don't think they will be taking pole or the win this weekend. Nice to see them somewhere near the top (or at the top, as it is in practice right now). Hopefully they can get a decent result.

They have brought a new diffuser and changed the front wing slightly.
