Yeah Pedrosa was slowing down slightly on the last lap. He almost gave that one away. Hayden had his best finish in a while on the Ducati. It was a very good race. I love laguna seca.

Na no chance unfortunately.
I don't watch Moto GP, but I might watch this race tonight seeing as there's bugger all else on the TV on a boring Sunday night after TopGear has finished. And also because it's at Laguna Seca.
Good race and Rossi almost had him, man I love that corkscrew.
Man what a race! It was pretty good from where I was watching (inside of turn 5). I saw I think it was Melandri and Dovizioso go down. I still havent seen the race on tv yet, but I'm pretty sure pedrosa had a good start, and Lorenzo not so good a start. I was really happy to see Hayden come home 5th because I got a signed shirt from himI have a a favorite rider now!! lol
Vanilla Bear sorry I couldnt get a Lorenzo autograph. Every time a Yamaha rider came out everyone swarmed them like you wouldnt believe.

Stoner set for further medical tests - http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/76731

Casey Stoner will undergo further medical tests in America this week in a bid to understand the illness that has hampered him since the Catalunya Grand Prix.
At Laguna Seca he again fell back in the race as his physical condition worsened - although this time he felt his slump from second to fourth was influenced by discomfort from his big qualifying crash and the after-effects of the winter surgery on his left wrist.
"Today I didn't feel as bad at the end of the race as I have done in the last two but I'm still not right," said Stoner. "I found it really difficult to keep my concentration over the last few laps and I was in a bit of a daze by the end.
"My left arm was feeling really tired by the end because of the fact there are so many left-handers here and my left wrist still doesn't have the full range of movement after my operation in the winter. I'm really disappointed because without all of these problems we could have done so much better.
"I want to thank the team for giving me a great bike and also Doctor Claudio Macchiagodena and our physiotherapist Freddie [Dente] for all their help. Now we'll focus on trying to find out the root of the problem because racing in this condition is not much fun."
Ducati team boss Livio Suppo said the additional problems facing Stoner at Laguna made it hard to judge how big a factor his original illness was.
"Surely yesterday didn't help to understand how he would be today without the crash," Suppo told Italia1. "He says he feels a lot better stomach-wise, as the sickness felt at Barcelona and Assen went a lot better.
"Despite that, especially in the last laps, he lacked concentration, and he told me he practically had to lean on the fuel tank under braking. His left arm felt very uncomfortable, so he wasn't at his best.
"Tomorrow we'll do a series of medical tests and we'll take advantage of being here to do them immediately instead of waiting to be back in Europe. Together with our doctors in Italy and with Clinica Mobile we've gathered all the things that need to be verified, and I think we'll understand well how to intervene. Doctor Macchiagodena has done a lot for Casey this weekend, we really need to thank him."
Glandular fever can put you out of action for up to 6 months

Yamaha refuses bidding war for Lorenzo

Yamaha will not get involved in a bidding war with Honda over the services of Jorge Lorenzo for 2010, the Japanese manufacturer has said, amid heightened speculation over the future of the Spanish rider.
Rumours emerging in Laguna Sena suggested that Lorenzo is in talks with Honda about a switch to them for next year, even though he says that remaining at Yamaha is his priority.
Yamaha is aware of the situation, but its boss Masao Furusawa has made it clear that the company will not stretch itself financially to try and keep hold of Lorenzo.
"We are interested in Jorge," Furusawa told Gazzetta dello Sport. "We are in talks but we know about Honda's offer: if he wants to go with them, we won't be raising our stakes in order to retain him."
Lorenzo insisted over the weekend that there was no firm offer from Honda yet, although he did not deny that discussions had taken place.
"At the moment Yamaha is the first option: I'd like to stay here. We are talking," he explained. "There is no offer [from Honda], but I can't say whether some discussions are taking place. I can say that at the moment, with nothing signed, my manager and I are open to anything."
