I'm really quite stunned at the number and magnitude of updates that Ferrari has brought to Canada. Last year this race was very significant because the team brought a lot of updates that worked. If anything, the team has brought more and, IMO, bigger updates here. Some are parts that we have seen (but not used) eg the exhaust and side pod area was seen at Barcelona practice.

Here's a summary of the changes I've spotted so far:-
1) front wing
2) front pylons
3) sidepods
4) exhaust
5) front brake ducts
6) bulge under nose
7)front wing pylons
8) new front camera positioning

Felipe running new exhaust with flow conditioner seen at Barcelona testing above top leading edge area of side pod. Older front wing and pylon.

Next two images show Nando with the old front wing and pylon then the new front wing and pylon. Both times he runs the old exhaust and no lateral leading flow conditioner as on Felipe's car.

Some images of the new exhaust and sidepod. It looks to me like, after more than a year, Ferrari are finally getting their "acer exhaust" concept working - they debuted this way back at testing for the 2012 season.

If I were team boss of Ferrari, this would be Massa's last year in the team. He's not looking like a Ferrari driver and isn't even good enough to be a no.2, I'd be very surprised if he retains the seat for yet ANOTHER year in 2014.

Massa's certainly been getting up close and personal with the barriers recently.

Hey Spanky, I will try and send you some high res shot for you to evaluate but I'll probably not get around to it till Monday night or Tuesday. What I did want to mention is that I'm convinced that Ferrari are doing something... maybe it's just the same but a little more than other teams. They sound so much different under deceleration than all other cars, just quite a bit more burble, and much deeper and pronounced noise than say for example the McLaren.

I'll try to pay attention to the Sauber cars tomorrow to see if it's just the Ferrari engine or if the Scuderia is playing with the exhaust.

if the Scuderia is playing with the exhaust.

I've heard of guys getting quite exhausted when playing with the exhaust.

Maybe Massa is losing his eyesight.
