The reality is that if next year they move up one place in the WDC standings from a financial standpoint, it would be enough to justify Lewis' entire contract.

Maybe Merc will have a revamp. New era?

Why would they? Silver Arrows.

Silvers fine, but a revamp to make the whole look more stand outy. Like McLaren, they have silver and it looks cool.

So Merc need to move to forth next year and they're quids in and have Lewis to boot. That's assuming they remain fifth this year.

Merc don't do the sponsor enough justice...Petronas has already gone GREEN while others are still trying to achieve it.

Basically, Mercedes MUST finish higher than this yr... Lewis can definitely bring in at least a couple of surprise good results, which in the midfield means a lot. For some reason, it seems Nico and MS were just coasting and bringing it home. (Sort of like Nico wants to beat MS but doesnt really have to, because its MS... but with Lewis, he HAS to beat him); and Lewis is going to be on a mission; so even if it doesnt mean a championship, I think it's exactly what Merc needs at the moment (well, at next yr's moment).

Let's wait and see. I'm actually looking fwd to it.
