Bought a few things from boots the other day, including a tube of hair gel.

Come out the shower this evening and go to use hair gel thinking it smells a bit odd for hair gel while rubbing it in...........

shaving gel :irked:

:rofl::rofl: Classic!

My Q as well...

Haha no, maybe a few years ago. Glad it wasn't raining when I nipped out to the shops though.

Congrats MOA, I don't think I could work from home as I get distracted too easily

Nothing a locking door can't fix, that's if you're fortunate enough to have a spare room to use as an office.

The benefits of working from home FAR exceeds any drawbacks you can come up with! :wine::inbed::type: repeat as necessary.

But you can't lock yourself away in an office if your looking after a child.

You're right. I guess I'd never looked at that aspect since my wife stays home as well. That and the fact that my kids haven't needed looking after for over a decade. The big payoff is not spending two or three hours a day commuting and the associated expenses that come along with it.

Why not? A kid's got to learn to become self sufficient at some point. Start early and they might have left you in peace by 16 :hehe::thumbup:

For me, it's about trying to grow my own Internet Services business; so right now I don't make enough to be able to spend hundreds of dollars on babysitters, working from home is the perfect solution, as long as I have an internet connection, I can work from anywhere. And my daughter is at an age now where she is reasonable self sufficient; she'll generally entertain herself so I only occasionally have to take time out of my work day to deal with child related issues, such as picking up my son from school, which only takes 10 minutes, overall I might lose one hour out of eight because of the kids!

Wow I've been productive today. I can get used to GP weekends like this. Correction, my wife could get used to it. So far today, I've fixed a leaky sink. I've gone out to refill both of our five gallon drinking water jugs. I've tightened the bolts to the air intake manifolds on my P car since I'm chasing down an intermittent jumping idle. (okay so my wife wouldn't care about that one)

And now I'm going out to rake leaves. All before Qualifying begins?!?! Remarkable. :hehe:

Impressive, wish I could get my bottom in gear. Was meant to be going skiing but that got cancelled :(

Today I accidently tripped over the power cable for my month old laptop, pulling it off the table damaging the casing around the power supply input; luckily it still works fine but seeing that damage every time I use the laptop is going to drive me crazy, even more so when the laptop is only four weeks old. We need a bigger home, we are constantly tripping over each other!
