That was a crazy race....

Great strategy by vettel and alonso...
Button w/ a good 3rd place finish
Hamilton at 6th despite everything that happened...

How anticlimactic... Was looking forward to a showdown between the top three.

I was looking forward to Vettel possibly not winning

Sadly even a mistake by RB cant overcome Vettels lucky streak, congrats to Vettel i guess and worst luck ever for Button but oh well i guess :/.

can anyone tell me how the tires of Sebastian Vettel managed to last 61 laps? Surely there must be some sort of "safety" standard regarding these tires? I think that if they were designed to go "61" laps then the rest of the teams would have been on a one stop strategy. These Pirelli tires were designed to "break away" so how does someone go 61 laps on one set, have a safety car and STILL manage to win?

I Beleive a full investigation to see if the tires were a liability for an accident should commence as it could have put the driver, and other drivers at risk.

Thoughts and criticism appreciated, but may not be looked at ;)

Vettel is insanely lucky. I dont think all of hamiltons crashes were his fault, once you go for the overtake you need the car to yield slightly, otherwise there wouldn't be any overtakes...ever, there would just be crashes.

How was vs mass or Maldonardo not his fault exactly? He drove straight into them :banghead::banghead:

Lewis is the new crash kid after that race

Well, to be fair, the contact with Schumacher wasn't Lewis' fault... :P

What a strange race. Mixed feelings actually.... Vettel got lucky with a daring strategy, but it worked very well.

Alonso and Jenson looked good for the win, either of them deserved that win, although they got good results anyway...

Maldonado was VERY unfortunate there taken out by a rookie.

Somehow the ending 'procedures' spoilt the race to the flag, but i guess since the guys were possibly hurt it was ok to take some extra safety measures.

:rofl: Vettel sprayed the royal guard!!:rofl:

Well, a crazy race. Was enjoyable, but somewhat anti-climatic. Hamilton's miserable weekend started in Q3 and continued today with a rough ride to 6th, which may end up being altered, pending investigation.

All-in-all, McLaren have knitted together a lovely present for Red Bull this time out, and I hope they don't do it again. :banghead:

Ok,
I have to admit it.
Vettel got lucky. I think he might have been gobbled up by Alonso without the red flag.
However, i think Seb has given his 'crash kid' title to Lewis. :hehe:

He didnt drive into them, he drove along next to them, if they don't yield there is nothing hamiton can do to get out of the maneuver. He might have been too aggressive to be in that position but the contact could have been avoided by the other drivers.

Who were the BLOODY stewards at this race? I still dont understand why the Force India driver and Lewis got a drive through? Especially for Lewis', Massa flat out simply drove him on the kerbs and there wasn't even much contact, both cars came out of that pretty much in one piece!! Why not the monkeys officiating this race just label that corner a "NO OVERTAKING" corner, so drivers won't even try at that place. GEEZ!

Great stuff from Seb taking in the pressure though he is one lucky duck at the end...and Lewis was the only one racing his ar*e of today...what a drive. Driver of the race for me today.
