There is a book publisher called Green Mountain Motorbooks, based in Vermont. They have published books on F1.

There, question answered. Google ninja at work. Actually given my sig' I should say that I used the Force. :yoda:

So, you conveniently overlook the 'Swiss' and also my hints?
Wrong answer.

The main European storage facility for Green Mountain Motorbooks is in Switzerland. :hehe:

I really have no idea on this one.

okay so heres my 2nd attempt (again trying to not look as silly as possible :hehe: )

i translated 'greenmountains' into swiss/german and came up with Grunen Bergen and the only connection i could come up with is : its connected to the nurburgring circuit - and that the new german goverment in the Rhineland-Palatinate state has reduced its support for the race

the reason for this connection is also because later on it says 'I have a problem if tax money is needed to ensure that more millions and billions are reaped in profits (by Formula 1)' this was said by GRUNEN party cheif Daniel Kobler

yes i know im silly for coming up with it but thats what i have gotten so far haha

If that is the correct answer then I'm glad *you* did the research on it! :D

...and DD has too much late evening free time on its hands.

Very creative, but no. Unfortunately you picked the wrong language. Remember Switzerland is multilingual, so try a romance language this time and it'll become very clear.

Im guessing the correct word is 'Monaco' and by golly there are some many connections i could make - Monaco Grand Prix/ Its a tax heaven for most of the racing drivers/ it probably has the most racing drivers living there

oh the possibilites are endless

The Swiss car company Monteverdi used an old F1 chassis from a 1989/90's F1 car (Monteverdi-Onyx GP) and it's Ford Cosworth V8 as a foundation for a supercar. The Monteverdi Hai 650. (it deserves honorable mention in the ugliest car thread)

 See? It wasn't THAT hard, was it? :P:thumbup:
Had you said that Monteverdi used to be in F1 in 1990 would have been good 'nuf.

I wanted to honor the response. :D

I'm going to encrypt my next question in order to make it harder to answer. :hehe:

Continuing the Swiss-Italian theme, eh?
Claudio Langes - in 1990 did not even pre-qualify in a record 14 races he entered (= statistically the least successful driver in F1 history :yikes: ).

Why waste good peripheral content? :hehe:

Dammit, I forgot to encrypt it. Sort of makes HRT look good in comparison.
