Murray Walker who knows more than a few about F1 races over the years, says this season has been the most exciting from start to finish that he can remember in the modern era.

And he says this is because of 1 thing - Mercs dominance and the 2 drivers of the highest quality allowed to race each other UNLIKE FERRARI in past years

Its confusing because I keep hearing from ferrari fans that this has been the worst season and that Merc are killing F1 when according to Murray Walker, Merc have produced the purest racing competition in decades

Oh well maybe those who are new to F1, dont even watch the races, and dont want to learn are correct in saying that Mercs unwillingness to change the rules is not sporting

That was a great article Nin Chin , thanks for posting! A real insight into Nico by someone who knows him pretty well. Looking forward to reading the Lewis one tomorrow!

Surpise announcement from Caterham, they have a major update that is going to give them 5 seconds a lap. They have also coaxed Timo Glock out for retirement and is going to put him in the second seat to replace Ericsson. Guess how this story ends lol

I was wondering what exactly your post had to do with Nico and Lewis. Then I read it again, properly, and light dawned. :hehe:

This is a good article on Nico Rosberg. Lewis' one will come tomorrow.

Great article, confirms what I thought about Nico, an airhead who goes missing sometimes

Ok Gary 'Overboost ' Anderson

Answer this simple question please

Do you think Lewis would prefer to be in Nicos shoes for the final race?

Yes or no?

If yes then you expertz are correct in saying Lewis has the tougher job

If no, then I would respectfully ask you to consider coming up with things that state the obvious more so that we can marvel at your ability to type words

If words per post were the beat measure then you would win easily cookin. But usually it is the opposite, I wonder why!

The experts and Lewis himself are saying that he needs to try and forget about his points lead and focus on one plan for the race, no hedging, no hesitations and all agree that the best plan that best fits his driving is to go for the win over cruising and collecting. The temptation to rely on the points makes deciding his race strategy that much tougher than Rosberg's who has no decisions to make and only one goal to achieve.

Is that clear enough for you to understand?

it does't answer the yes or no question OB... Lewis also goes on to say that he's approaching this race the same way he approaches EVERY OTHER RACE... so how is that more difficult or more stressful or gives Rosberg the advantage.

The questions was a yes or no answer, I think most people would rather have the points lead, don't kid yourself about that. I hope you join us to savor and celebrate Lewis Hamilton's 2nd WDC this Sunday, there will be song and dance and merrymaking. :cloud9:

Both of them have to go into this to race for the win. Lewis has the cushion to fall back slightly on, Nico needs some fortune to fall his way.

It never ceases to amaze me why people think that because its the internet and not in public, and cant see the look of embarrassment on the face of others when they blatantly ignore a yes/no question and switch to the 'strawman' cleverly cloaked in the 'you will get sick of it before I do' wrapped around the half arsed obligatory ad hominem

Such an innovative tactical package

The 'yes or no question' as I tried to explain earlier had no relevance to what the experts and Lewis Hamilton were talking about. They are talking about the differences and challenges in how the two approach the race in the situation as it stands, no if's.

I agree with the 'experts' opinions that Hamilton has a tougher job in how he approaches the race. If you and cooking wish to disagree with Anderson, McNish and Hamilton himself then so be it. There is not much more I can do to explain their comments to you if you don't want to understand.

I do agree with you that Hamilton is most likely to be the wdc winner on Sunday but Rosberg does have the momentum from Brazil. It is all about avoiding a brain fade for Hamilton. We will see what happens!

So is it yes or no?

Everyone but Gary 'overboost' Anderson, Sagi and 'no F1 wins' Mcnish thinks its not true that in any way at all Lewis has a harder task next Sunday. All we want to know is that if Lewis has a harder time planning strategy and planning the big decision of whether he goes for the win or goes for second place, and this harder task of deciding to do the opposite to what he has declared he will do, and what he has always done, and what the 3 monkeys(like in the advert) all agree he has always done

then whats the relevance if Lewis wouldnt swap places with Nico?

Its like saying, 'I need to decide whether to eat because Im hungry, however if i wasnt hungry i wouldnt need to eat' therefore the guy starving cos he has no food is actually better of than me'
