To you panicking Macca fans, yes, you are dangerously behind in your development program, but, are you still so sure your car isn't potentially the fastest?

Im not too concerned McLaren of late usually starts off on the back foot anyways. 09 they were in a far worse position heading into the season. Like Lewis said its too early to write the season off.

It amazes me how people are making judgments about a car that is only learning about it's potential. The only thing that I would be concerned about is the delays and niggling problems that keep setting the teams work program back. Perhaps if you compared the MP4-26 from yesterdays performance to all the other teams performance on the 2nd last day of the previous practice at Barcelona you might get a truer comparative position.

I'm not saying it's a winner and I'm not saying it's a loser, I'm just saying I don't think anyone can really tell.

Lewis himself says the car is not going to be a winner during the flyaway races.

When has a team won the Championship after being 3rd (or worse) best for the first three races? I'm quite sure they'll get wins, but that's not all we're after....we DO have standards as well!

to fellow mclaren fans- yes the situation is not ideal, lack of laps, and constant reliability issues, but theres nothing that we can do personally, so there's no point worrying, if lewis and jenson can pick up some good points early and car development comes good then quids in, and lets remember, the umpredicatablity in races, crashes, breakdowns, safety cars, rain, high degredation on tyres, so wait till the first race

Some very interesting graphs here.

From a Ferrari point of view this is better than good news. I particularly think the last two graphs are very positive for both Ferrari and Felipe.

Ferrari are holding back, no doubt about it now. Massa keeps doing slow a** laps on the first run of any stint and then starts going for it.

Hopefully this doesn't keep up and Ferrari show their hand.

They are definitely more pacy then last season and last season they were fighting for points for most of it. Got high hopes of kobayashi podium this season.

Its alright saying that we know red bull and ferrari are top from testing times, when we dont even know when their exactly on the same fuel, but we finally do get information that says they were both on a single qualifying run, and perez was quicker, it means jack s*it. funny that aint it, didnt expect less from a tifosi though. I gave you a tidbit of information, not the trend set for the rest of the year!
