Alonso is back in the hunt and Ferrari has turned their car around, period. Red Bull's dominance is no longer.

McLaren as a manufacturer needs to completely turn it around by Japan or start thinking about the 2011 car because they've lost all momentum.

Renault and Williams slugging it out for the bottom feeder points really added to the excitement of the race, as difficult a circuit as Singapore is and how hard it is to pass, it still manages to be one of the best races on the calendar.

Lewis was the only one of the top drivers to overtake another top one. He did overtake, was well ahead of Webber because Webber hit his REAR wheel. Webber was very lucky not to get a penalty. It wouldnt have helped Lewis but unfair Webber gets off scott free.

It would have helped Lewis bigtime in the WDC. Webber got a massive break there. Lots of unluckiness in his career made up by this huge fortune in Singapore.

How? It's all factually correct(though I thought Vettel got the fastest lap), and the other stuff is personal opinion based on stuff that's happened. Can't see anything in what you quoted saying Hamilton won't win the wdc and Alonso will.

Race incident racechick I think, Mark wasn't slowing down for that situation and didn't have much room to slow down after with Lewis where he was, and Lewis didn't have clear track position that Massa had in Monza I think.

it was a strategic mistake by McLaren to let Hamilton go so long without coming it for tires. He had a stint of 5 or 6 laps where he lost 1 and 2 seconds a lap to chasers.

Kubica made a great and clear pass on the outside Lewis made a great move on Webber yet was not clear for the racing line, thats why they call it racing . Chances are taken in racing and sometimes they reach fruition sometimes they don't.

McLaren just can't accept their car is NOT good enough anymore to challenge for the win.

Their race pace was a joke. They had their time in the light, now it's going to take a miracle for them to get the WDC this year. If they don't close up in the next race, shift focus for 2011 and build the E-duct or something.

Hamilton said himself that Webber was in his blind spot, and thus must surely have known that if he was going to turn in then Webber might have been there somewhere! Hamilton could just have left more space like Kubica did in his similar move later on. I don't know what the hell people are expecting that Webber himself should have done to avoid that incident, it's laughable to suggest he should have a penalty really. He was almost alongside when Hamilton started turning in.

At least we have some consistency from the stewards now - no penalties given for any of the similar incidents we've had today and recently.

Haha is that what you call an overtaking maneuver? He didn't get ahead and Webber hit him.

Yes Kubica was amazing!! My driver of the day, very impressed. But when he made that move (like the one Lewis made) he had cooperation from the car being overtaken not intransigence
