Whhooo Hooo!! Lewis 3rd :):) Great finnish!!
Well done to Michael I have to say 6th ahead of some big names.
Red bull until its exhaust cracked looked better than I thought it would.

Not over optimistic about the season though. A few overtakes but prospect of a huge boring bit in the middle.

Well this is ominous, it's not like Ferrari are going to have cooling issues at every race!

One thing i think we can take is that Red Bull do definitely have an advantage from not having to run as much fuel at the start of the race.

Great to see Massa has come back strong too! :):)

:whip::whip::whip:

Now that's how its done!!

... Well done by Lewis. Fine fine drive. Seems like the tire saving issue is probably only worth a couple extra laps by Jenson, which being in traffic do very little to the end result. We'll see though... too early to tell.
Bravo Kubica as well. Seems the Renault will be up for some pts.

Now for the obvious: what a borefest!! what a crap track......

Yep, Bahrain is a bad track..let's wait for Australia and we will get a better picture. New regulations are bad, no tactics whatsoever. And today showed that Lewis has no problem with saving tyres if he wants to

About McLaren, I know they were bad at sector two, but what about sector 1 and 3? Maybe they'll be on pace on other tracks

My 2 cents.

Knew Hispania wouldn't finish the race and wasn't surprised by Virgin Racing.

Virgin showed in Qualifying that they were the fastest of the 3 new teams but Lotus showed today that they were more reliable.

Did feel for Vettel, damn cracked exhaust ruined his race, Newey's new idea for this cost him the race

Would of preferred Massa to win, well lewis infact :) but we got a third.

Mercedes ran a good race but tbh I completely forgot about them, they led a rather quite race.

If they still have that straight line advantage they dominate at Monza and Spa, etc. I think by that stage in the season the advantage will have gone though.

To all of those who are whining about no overtaking you do realize that there is more to racing than just overtaking right  ? Kudos to all the teams/drivers who finished  .

Well I agree theres more to F1 than just overtaking...but racing?/ racing is ALL about overtaking.

Then Alonso's move on Massa at the start must have impressed you.

Even though Alonso won I was still kinda bored. No refuelling has taken away from the racing. I also wanted to see Alonso try overtake Vettel properly than have Vettel fade away with a problem.

Actually overtaking is just one of the numerous factors in racing yet I understand that is a difficult concept to grasp for those who have never actually raced except from their armchairs.

I agree that the changes made to the track are :bs: .

That was boring, what stragety is there exactly? Where's the unkown after the first few laps?

Alonso was faster than Vettle just before his exhaust blew but got too close and dropped back again becuase of the sodding dirty air.

The tyres need to be far more marginal so teams are unsure if they can do 1 or 2 stop strategy.

The move on Massa was more a result of Lewis pushing and Massa defending... left the door for Alonso. But a nice valuable move anyways.

I dont know yet if the no refueling will take away from the racing... the track is and has always been pretty poor. And as seen in Q there was too much of a difference from the slow sector... maybe in other tracks cars will be closer. But again, had it not been for Vettel having problems, the fight for the win would have been amazing.
