If the allegations are true about Briatore and Symonds ordering Piquet to crash then Renault's legal action will almost certainly be thrown out of court. It should be relatively easy to prove within reasonable doubt if it was deliberate. Piquet said that he "kept on checking over the radio what lap number he was on which he normally wouldn't do" - That's easy to check, radio conversations in Singapore should verify that. As it his claim that he deliberately kept his foot on the gas long after he should have been braking, that is easily proven by the telemetry. I believe Briatore is guilty as sin, whether Renault were involved in these actions we don't know.

Now im am not 100% sure on this but i always go by the saying of innocent until proven guilty.
But at least there is something intresting going on around F1 as max cannot put up without a court case.

If this is true there is no way in this world Renault would be stupid enough to say "crash so we get a safety car" over the radio. It would of been something that was pre planned and would of just used a codeword or something along those lines.

I'm not saying anyone openly said "crash now", but radio conversations will confirm Piquet's version of events.

Yes but when he said to fix the problem he meant pretty much what Lewis said in the earlier part of the year. That the team let him down and that improvements had to be made. To use that as evidence is ridiculous.
