72-5 before lunch. Oh dear

Wait it's started again?

... ohhhh have the English "blown" their best chance?

I suppose if the Aussies win it sets up a "show down" in the final test?

Correct. I wouldn't actually mind that, but I do want us to win.

[EwanM]

I suppose it is only the first innings. Maybe Australia will be poor?

Probably not poor enough. >.<

What you need is a giant meteorite to strike the cricket pitch during the tea-break.
That way nobody is hurt, but they can't play.

Oh dear, I've just got back from the beach and...erm...the Cricket scorecard is a teensy bit embarrassing today I don't think I can defend England on this one

[Juliet P]

I'm trying to paint the hallway in my flat today with Test Match Special turned up high on the tv - but the play has depressed me so much I can't bring myself to pick up the paintbrush again...

[Juliet P]

Oi! That's not meant to be funny!

[Jameseh]

Nah, England are screwed now whatever they do, because the aussie's will most likely make 350-400 runs, then do that again, so England has to make 600 in one innings. No way in hell.

But we'll win the 4th & 5th test anyway so it doesn't matter.

This is the fourth test!

And you wait until Scotland lose at something Marshall, you'll be sorry! And you shouldn't have to wait too long...

We never expect to win anything though. So...

We'll be coming, we'll be coming, we'll coming down the road....................

I'm torn, part of me wants to do a quick rain dance but we're having a BBQ this weekend.
