Hamilton might have damaged that tire a bit. On the other hand, Red Bull went really conservative into qualifying. Something is suspicious there.
"I can only say that Red Bull gives you wings. It’s as simple as that."

It's a very long race tomorrow. The easiest spot to control tire wear is from the front, and only the McLarens and Red Bulls were fast on the soft tires today. Everyone else was abysmally slow on softs and I'm thinking the winning strategy tomorrow will be starting on the super softs followed by two stints of softs. We'll see different strategies, and Mercedes and Lotus will surely try something different as their cars just weren't very quick today.
If Hamilton gets past turn one in first place, the race after that is for second. Let's hope things stay clean tomorrow and we don't have to see the safety car too many times. Go make your prediction game bets for the safety car to make and appearance, it's an easy half a million you can pick up.
As has been mentioned already, the main thing for Lewis to think about is how to deal with Maldonado if he made a good start and was alongside at turn 1. If I were Lewis, and Pastor was alongside me, then I'd simply let him past. Otherwise, an accident would be more or less guaranteed.

Fixed that for you old chap!
Do you know Vettel would have moved into 3rd place for all time pole positions today had he gotten pole?

Bloody hell! Good on him!

He's got a long career ahead of him. At the moment, he's the only guy I'd happily see beat all of Schumachers records.
McLaren is partying like it's 1999... since that was the last time they got four straight poles.
Maybe Big Ron should contemplate his stinginess and loosen the purse strings a little more...for the driver who's got him a WDC after a DECADE of waiting, and currently matching past great records of the team.

That was on his second run so he won't start on that set!
