I think we are completely missing out the driver of qualifying....the guy who is 0.15s slower than Lewis in a SAUBER!

The Sauber is a good car, there's talk of Ferrari adopting their rear end for the Mugello test... Could help Ferrari a bit albeit embarrassingly :hehe:

Congrats to Rosberg...
Sad to see Seb in P11 though..

and...

KAMUI KOBAYASHI
:director::hehe:

What if he wins this race?!?!?! Am i just being too optimistic!?
Was there ever a Japanese driver on pole in F1 history?

I love Formula1 in 2012!
Who can honestly say that seeing Vettel/RBR dominating qualifying is better than seeing Nico getting his first ever pole position, and the first front row lock-out for the 'new Mercedes team'?
Not me, that's for sure

I don't think there has been. There certainly hasn't been a Japanese winner. Ukyo Katayama had a couple 5ths and a 6th in his time but he wasn't exactly in the best machinery. Aguri Suzuki had one 3rd place to his name but other than that F1 has not been too rewarding for Japan.

Damn Red Bull trying 2 different versions of their car and Vettel preferring the one that turns out to be slower as it is less nervous and he feels more comfortable in it. :banghead:

Massa's fastest lap was faster than that of Alonso - pity he didn't get out of Q2! :banghead:

Maybe its because Alonso reused a set of softs which he ran in Q2, Ferrari knew they can't qualify much higher than 10th. They've saved a brand new set for tomorrow. Massa was a lame duck as usual, a sheer embarassment to Ferrari.

Great Qualifying!! Grats to Mercedes and Roseberg

Massa's Qualifying laps were slower than Alonso's in Q1 and Q2, when was his fastest lap then?

EDIT: Ah i see Alonso's Q1 time was really slow

Yesh, but when Massa got his 1:35.255 in Q2, Alonso got 1:35.982. The track was cooling (half the top ten posted a slower lap time in Q3 to Q2), so IF Alonso was even trying in Q3, there is no way Massa would of out-qaulified him....?

So Im not sure of your point?

Am I not allowed to be happy that ultimately Massa was faster than Alonso for once?

Jeeze, some people...... :banghead:

The order still isn't set in stone, and a lot of things are still up in the air. This is making for intriguing viewing, and unpredictability.
