1 lucky win in 3 seasons in F1 for a team that promises each year that they'll be challenging for the championship. The stat's don't look too good.

As for posting team telemetry on Twitter last month, it was a sacking offence. Yet McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh, a nice man with a chummy style of driver management, exercised no governance over his man. No fine. No serious admonishment. Pathetic. Perhaps he feared pushing Hamilton away amid delicate contract talks. Well, look where it got him.
That said, Hamilton likes Whitmarsh. More than he does McLaren chairman Ron Dennis, whose cold manner after the win at this month’s Italian Grand Prix registered with Hamilton.
The hope is that 27-year-old Hamilton, away from McLaren, will finally act his age. Or is he destined always to attract trouble? A bit of both, probably.
Certainly, his McLaren team-mate Jenson Button will not miss him. He was dismayed by the telemetry tweeting.
Word is that Button will now jealously guard his data from Hamilton for the remaining six races of the season. It may hinder, but not necessarily ruin, Hamilton’s hopes of coming from 52 points back to sign off from McLaren as world champion.

McLaren = Cheapskates, despite their resources have won SFA for years, now we know why

Introduce a new supercar just as the biggest recession in years bites, launch it against a direct rival thats prettier, faster, looks more like 200ks worth and has more pedigree,

Lose focus on the race team by promoting middle management mediocrity to TP

And now they are obviously running out of money and losing sponsors

The best part? They replace one of the biggest draws in sport with an up and coming (cheap) replacement who will bring no sponsors apart from his pay masters

At least they still got Button as a clear number one who can take on Seb, Alonso and Lewis, A team who never have a number one and 'get the two best drivers available and give them equal status'

No wonder Ron said that McLaren were about winning races and not championships, yup thats because they cannot afford to win any championships, cheapskates even hoard the silverwear the drivers pick up.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Enjoy your racing Lewis, make a ton of money on sponsorship deals, lets watch McLaren go the Williams route of terminal decline (ironically kick started by nogrip himself)

Lets compare McLaren and Williams, both had years of failure and great success tied to whether they had an exclusive engine deal with Renault or Honda.
First stage - lose exclusive top engine deal and richest sponsors and start the decline, next up - depend on South American pay drivers, mess up the best talent - (Montoya), and with results on track going south, watch the company head for liquidation

And what do both great British teams have in common at the start of the process?

Yup, no grip himself

What next? Button will drive faster and find more grip and refuse to share the secret?

Mclaren wills soon learn what it is to have Hamilton as an enemy.

Yeah, I'm sure they're shaking in their boots already...

It's funny, it's Lewis's credit that he got the tile in 2008, but McLaren's fault that he hasn't got anymore.

That's very good, different ways of stating the same thing everything shaded according to perspective, where do you find all this media? I suppose in the hope of confusing anyone who examines your hard drive?

Don't go, I want to see this thread every time Rosberg out qualifies or outscores Lewis, or Jenson does, or Perez does.

Hmmm.... Have you looked at the qualifying results between Lewis and Jenson? Oh, you're being sarcastic, I get it. I hope this post doesn't prove you wrong too often next year. Someone is liable to link to it or make it their signature to remind you every time you look at it. :hehe:
