As for the McLaren road cars. Rubbish cars compared to Ferrari and Porsche. And the 458 is magic. And it has the perfect name. 458 ITALIA. What a lovely name. ITALIA sound a lot better than McMERDA.

The Mclaren F1 pretty much out does every Ferrari road car including the Enzo...

Not on a race track with corners etc it does not. In a straight line anyone can go quick. Even a Nissan GTR with NOS.

Yeh but thats a 6 month old Car..and its made by Nissan not Ferrari.

Compared to a car thats over 10 years old

And the Mclaren F1 won Le Mans in a GT class Car beating the prototype classes.

Do you mean the BMS Scuderia Italia team in the FIA GT Championship?

You know they use Aston Martins now lol..

What I mean by the NOS thing is that anyone can make a car go fast in a straight line. That is all the McLaren F1 road car is, fast in a straight line. Most Ferraris from the mid 90s onwards will walk all over that car on a race track. Ferrari handles better. What do McLaren know of road cars anyway. They are amateurs compared to Ferrari. And also that fast straigh line speed for the McLaren is all BMW power anyway. McLaren have no idea how to build their own engines. And you want to believe they are really in the same league as Ferrari. Please!

You will see that from 2003 until 2008 Ferrari machinary has won all years, 2003 and 2004 with the 550 Marenello and 2005-2008 with the Maserati MC12 (Which is essential a Ferrari mechanically and the body is a modified Enzo) Take a look here if you dont believe me. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maserati_MC12

And in the GT2 it has been Ferrari F430 from 2006, 07 and 08. The 360 Modena won in 2001. In between there is a heap of Porsche wins as well and I love Porsche too. Now bow nice is this FIA GT championship. Great cars and free of McLaren junk.

They didn't beat the Mclaren in Lemans in the 90's or the GT Championship the Mclaren Entered.

Mclaren Never entered that...but i bet if they entered the SLR it would of won.

Probably in your eyes only. And I am a fan of Ferrari and a select few other teams and makes which I happen to like. The rest is of no or little interest to me.

It won the Japanese GT Championship. And did it also win the Italian one and the German one etc? So what it won a national championship of one country. Count all the Ferrari wins at the national level and you'll lose count. And regarding Le Mans. Ok it one something. Count all the Ferrari International championships one. Ferrari even won IMSA (the then American World Sports Prototype Championship in 1995). McLaren won the BPR Global GT series in 1995 and 1996 (which was the Sports Car racing equivelent of the time), I'll give you that, but nothing compared to what Ferrari has achieved in terms of success in Sports Car Racing. Once again you cannot compare little McLaren to big Ferrari. No comparison. Get it into your head.

So they built an engine. So if they were good at it why not build all their engines? They needed Mercedes ones for over 10 years now in F1? They have used Ford, Honda and Peageot engines as well in the past. As well as BMW engines in their best road cars. I don't see Ferrari using BMW or Porsche engines in their cars.
