I wouldn't mind if any of the top three on the grid actually won the race tomorrow - it would be the first win for them or their team.

See, with the top six being the way they are, I'm having trouble choosing. It would be epic if Fisi brought that Force India home in first place, great for Jarno to secure Toyota's first win in a season where both their futures are uncertain, great for Heidfeld to get his first win, possible secure himself a drive for next year and help sell BMW Sauber to keep the team in F1, good for the championship if Rubens won and Button didn't score, great for BMW Sauber if Kubica won (and for his own reputation - Heidfeld is beating him at the moment), and good for Raikkonen to get a win for himself and Ferrari.

It's. So. Hard. :P

But as you all know, my decision is Heidfeld. :)

Just watched the post-race press conference and I worked out where all Heidfeld's speed came from - he's got far less beard than usual! Maybe Button should give that a go... :hehe:

A bit harsh :D

Worth a try. I mean, Rubens has less and he was four tenths quicker than Jenson in Q2. :P
fisi is light but ruben is ligher

brawn are terrible!

And why have they tank'ed the Mclarens surely that will ruin any KERS advantage if there lugging around a ton of fuel...

Not sure. I guess if they went too short, they'd risk dropping further down the field.

Fisi is actually on a reasonable load, if he can build up a good enough lead and get good in- and out-laps. He could still get a podium from there, but Rubens...I think he has to pass Nick and Jarno if he wants to have any chance of winning tomorrow, but he also has to keep an eye on Raikkonen who is starting right behind him with KERS.

I somehow forgot to set my alarm and missed qualifying but WOW 'what a strange trip it's been' this season. I'm with DD in that I would not be disappointed if any of the top three won. Who said this season is boring and predictable?? :D

WOW!! The top 3 is something only a person on an acid trip could've guessed. :eek:Heidfeld FTW, and Fisi on the podium tmrw!

I like the way you think :D

Jenson Button has expressed his frustration at the situation he has found himself in - amid fears that he is going to see his world championship lead wiped out in the next few races unless he can turn things around.

The Brawn GP driver had a disastrous qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix, managing no better than 14th on the grid, and he is worried that team-mate Rubens Barrichello and rivals Red Bull Racing will take more points off him in the race.

Although Button has an 18-point margin over his team-mate, he thinks it is not a comfortable enough lead for the way his form has trailed off in recent races.

"It is not a huge advantage," said Button in Spa. "I lost eight points to Rubens at the last race, which was frustrating even though it wasn't down to the pace. Here I don't have the pace, and he is starting fourth and I am starting outside the top ten.

"Even if the positions stay as they are, he is going to gain a lot of points for me this race. It is a lead that is going to disappear very quickly if we start having bad weekends, but at the moment I cannot do anything about it."

He added: "At the moment, I cannot get the pace out of the car. It is something we need to look at.

"We have a couple of weeks before Monza and hopefully we can find out the reasons. The car doesn't feel to me like it did earlier in the season. We had a couple of cold races but since it has been warmer, I still can't find a good balance."

Button has struggled to find a good set-up on his car over the Spa weekend, and matters were not helped by a small error he made in qualifying when he ran wide at the quick left hander before Pouhon.

When asked how much his frustration was growing by what is happening, Button said: "Well, it is obviously not a good position to be in. I am leading by quite a bit but with a couple of bad races that will be it. So, it is frustrating but there is also no use in thinking about it too much.

"You have to concentrate on trying to improve the situation, and that is exactly what I am going to be trying to do."

Well.

I wouldnt mind if anyone in the top 3 wins tho. In fact, I dont mind when any driver wins just as long as it isnt Hamilton. :P

I'm going for Trulli for the victory, followed by Rubens and Fisico.

Does anyone think it's funny that ITV.com claim that Fisichella has been outperformed by Sutil this year, despite the fact Sutil has beaten him three times all year? Bloody idiots. It's because ITV.com never look at the back of the field unless Hamilton is there

Personally i think it would be nice to see NH win but i think it would be good for the sport if Toyota got a win because i think that may convince the boardroom people that they should continue to commit to F1.

Even fuel adjusted Toyota, BMW and Force India are on the two front rows. Vettel didn't do too badly either. I'm still in shock about the result, it's going to be a strange race tomorrow, I can't wait :D

Yeah, I have to say the biggest surprise to me was Vettel. Not only was he heavier than Webber, he would've been 2nd quickest.

But we'll see how it all works out for Red Bull tommorrow. Really, Vettel needs to fight through the field. No getting stuck behind other cars. He needs to muscle onto the podium, and aim for victory. He mentioned how Kimi came back from 20 points down in 2007 and won the championship. He only done that by winning constantly.

Still rooting for Vettel to win this championship.

But although its early days, the man who actually looks good to take the fight to Button is Barrichello. But we'll see if he can carry this form forward. Can you imagine Rubens as world champion.
