The Daily Mail eh Image

Just a contribution of info I have found, I'm neutral on the matter as I dont care for all the inner team politics yada yada yada. I recorded Sundays race but only from the green flag to the checked flag and leftout all the pre and post race stuff.

He's just saying the Daily Mail is abit of a s*** paper in the UK they right utter crap most of the time so its not a reliable source

He didn't drive very well yesterday but the car has very little downforce so it was never going to stick the road as much the MP4-23. You can't tell a driver to get out after one performance where he still got points haave a little sense please

I'd have thought the stiff suspension set-up would have been more of an issue than downforce, actually. He had at least two new aero parts on the car.

Yeah it was almost stupid how stiff the car was set-up was like a tripod!

The press always screw things up yet people keeep falling for it  .
I say just be true to yourself and your team and forget all the press's nonsense.

I agree 100%. Hamilton is a honest guy in a sometimes dishonest business. He is not a good liar because it's not in his nature to do so. In many ways, Lewis is still a child that is learning the business. The critics stir controversy at every opportunity because it sells. Lewis was put into a precarious position in Australia only because he was ignorant of the safety car rules and McLaren tried to take advantage with a shady tactic that backfired. Oh well, move on people, he is still the champ. This season will define his character and test his resolve. I think he is doing awesome job given his challenges. To all the doubters, DO NOT forget Lewis gave McLaren a points position from 18th in Melbourne with his driving skill in a 'supposedly slow' car. He spun in China because he goes hard every lap and he pushed a car(tires) beyond it's limit that was not setup properly for his driving style in the wet. So what, I remember a guy by the name of Ayrton Senna that use to make the same mistakes as Lewis when he was young and learning also and look how he turned out. :drink: This thread makes no sense! I would understand if you were questioning Nelson Piquet Jr. or Kazuki Nakajima since these guys are consistent underachievers, but doubting the reigning world champion of Formula 1? What an irrational statement, I hope McLaren Fan was drunk when he started this thread and now has had a moment of clarity.

I hate the press. I hate the news. I don't watch TV anymore. i picked up some newspapers in the past couple of days and read this thing about a boat of Australia burning, but up till then I been left in the dark. I like it this way.

An example: Remember (I don't) a few decades ago we had the Azariah Chaimberland mystery in Uluru Australia? It was a little girl who was taken by a dingo.

The press gave everyone an opinion that the Chaimberlands, practicing Mormons, had gone and offered her up in some sick sacrifice ritual. The mother did hide some photographs, which didn't help her, but you would to if the press have you under a microscope...

I saw something funny a few months ago where Simon Katich apparently grabbed Michael Clarke by the throat in the dressing room after a cricket match. It's funny how the Sunday Telegraph had an Article entitled "Australian Cricket Crisis." It started off like this, "The Sunday Telegraph can exclusively reveal that there was a serious altercation...."

And then I read the story of Chris Brown and Rihanna. "In most dreadful news, Rihanna has gone back to her boyfriend Chris Brown, who attempted to murder her, and they are now engaged. Chris, who made no attempt to apologise to Rihanna..."

Bloody hell, if they're engaged, he apologised. :irked:

So I stopped after those two stories. Pretty stupid stories, but then I realised that the press have been nothing but manipulative of late. Everyone in this world wants money, and they will lie to sell papers, or twist things, or whatever.

I will, of course, read the sport. If it's Formula One or Soccer.
