Well...

B spec version of the F60 is expected in Barcelona (presuming that the appeal today fails). The way things are looking Barcelona is going to be like a new start to the season with a bunch of new car launches!!

I would say either Ferrari or McLaren or both will turn up at Spain with the new DD diffuser. Should be interesting :D

Also, I've been away for the past 4 days and I read that Luca Baldisseri has been dropped from the pit wall. YES!!!!
Baldisseri as I've said for the last year or so, is an awful strategist. The worst on the grid clearly. How many times Ferrari got it wrong in terms of strategy, it was his fall. He lost Massa a place to Kubica in Monaco I remember. He's also probably the guy who put Massa on a 3 stop in Australia. Also he recently put Kimi on wet tyres at Sepang. The guy's clearly a numpty so good riddance.

My hopes for this weekend. Some points for Massa. A good race finish for Vettel. Both Williams to do well, and a win for Barrichello.
I'd also hope for another Piquet antics crash, but we know thats gonna happen anyway

Both Williams to do well

If Nakajima can up his game in qualifying and / or not crash. If both the Williams can get anywhere on the first three rows they have a great possibility of a big points haul. The FW31 is also the best car off the line, Nico has made two fantastic starts in as many races, and this is without KERS.

I've often wondered why ferrari dont dump the kers till next year.... they can do with the lighter weight. I dont know what formulas they use to conclude that they better off with the kers system. dont it make sense to drop the weight while they can ??

Ferrari reckon KERS gives them something like 2 tenths a lap extra pace plus a great advantage when trying to overtake but I read today that they are going stop using KERS until Spain due to reliability issues.

That extra 2 tenths was after the penalty for the weight it is something like 5 tenths faster from KERS and 3 tenths lost because of the weight I would also say it doesn't make the cars any heavier they just have less movable ballast to play around with.

Well it's Italian car electrics what do you expect  and that's why there not using it until Spain now!
If it was reliable like McLarens, Renaults and BMW then they could use it.

The truth is, to score points you got to finish the race first. It's deffinetly worth dropping 2 tenths if it means you finish more races.
Ferrari rushed things this year. I was actually a bit spectal whenever they rolled out their car so early after talking about all the probelms they were having.

I'm actually interested to see this weekend how the relative performances are of Kubica and Ferrari. Logical says Kubica should be faster, but I think KERS is less of an advantage than the teams are letting on.

Also, supersoft tyres for china :hehe: They fell to pieces in Melbourne after 8 laps, china is much harder on tyres. They're gonna last about 5 laps. Expect everyone to fuel heavy, and to go 5 laps near the end on the super soft.

ya you right ... my thinking is - dont tell me that kers is worth 2 tenths if it works.... rather tell me what you stand to lose if you DONT have that 40 kilos extra weight in the car. THAT should be worth even more considering you dont have to carry the weight around with you. picking up speed faster - less weight under braking - maybe less tyre wear becoz of lighter weight - all that type a s***....
