I was on 'post a reply' while I was trying to work out the driver (I didn't know if it was George Follmer or Jackie Oliver). The stupid thing didn't tell me others had posted when I pressed submit.

the top on looks like Zandvoort but could be a number of places, Spa, Watkins Glen... is it a Porsche? or perhaps a Cooper

1 - nope!
Number 2 is correct. That was the easy one.
4 is indeed Paul Ricard, very good - but it's not John Watson. That's a tough one, so a clue would be that it's a test session...
5. Not Gerhard!
Number 6 is indeed an '86 Benetton at Silverstone, but the driver is not Teo Fabi. edit: actually it is, sorry about that!
