I watched the USF1 news conference on speed channel. I think it's great that we'll have an American team in F1, but Danica Patrick and Scott Speed are NOT up to the challenge. Neither one of them would get out Q3. And I'm an American from NYC. F1 is the greatest sport on planet earth!!!! 3 weeks to go and lewis Hamilton begins his quest for his second F1 title.

I agree about Danica, but I highly doubt Scott would make a comeback. So far from what I've read they're looking into Kyle Busch and AJ Allemdinger.
Anyways, welcome fellow American
Scott Speed isn't even competitive in Nascar. I love Nascar, but there's no comparison to F1. There's no lucky dog in F1. You go down a lap in F1, you stay down a lap. You want your lap back, get it back on the track-- go fast, pass some guys. I also hate all the cautions. One little lug nut on the track brings out the caution. In F1 some small debris isn't removed from the track, it's up to you avoid it.
Thanks for the welcome. The company I work for is in Fontana.
We were talking about Scott Speed as a possible USF1 driver yesterday. Well, he just went into the wall at Atlanta. He's NOT the one.
