She asks if Merc will take into consideration their prize money to give their customers a break??????

Their customers are happy with the cheapest and best engine, Only Force India dont have much money which they havent for years yet they can still afford the engines

unlike ferrari and Renault customers who have gone bust because of the over priced sh!t engines they had to buy

So Merc have to use their prize money to do what exactly for their cstomers?? She doesnt know, yet Ferrari have to keep their noncompetitive extra money and let their customers go bust. Maybe she means Merc should give Ferrari some money, why not the engine, this is where we are going with this but she doenst understand

By that same token, since Mercedes is just so altruistic, do you believe they will take into account
their estimated $156m of the 2014 prize money to give their own customers more of a break?

Especially considering Mercedes will get about 195% of what Force India is estimated to receive
and about 165% of what the estimate for Williams is. Since Honda will be supplying McLaren
next year, there is no point factoring into the mix the estimated 150% more Mercedes will get.

In Mialala land, Mercedes should give back some prize winnings after all their hard work to develop the best car in the field.

Given today's issue with drivers struggling with technical issues/settings, I'd thought I'd revive this thread. So, do we think the FIA have gone too far with the radio communication clampdown? With cars being so complicated in the V6T Hybrid era; it's crazy to have drivers fiddling with engine settings unguided; drivers are not engineers.

I have to agree with MOA!!

Whilst trying to figure out what setting which gear should be on,
any driver could easily cause an accident if the car slows down
suddenly, stalls or even reverses (which I know is highly unlikely).
At the end of the day, F1 is a TEAM sport and since everyone has
their area of expertise, we should let them do their jobs.
Otherwise, if drivers have to learn which knobs and switches to
fiddle with, it's important that they be trained.

...Hamilton suggested F1 is so technical in the modern era, with so many switches and modes controlled from the cockpit, that the drivers need some assistance...

Isn't this the same guy who said he would rather spend $100 on a video game than spend time in the simulator??
