I read elsewhere someone saying that Buttons stunning time at Jerez on day 1 was because he cut a chicane. They claimed it was reported on/by Autosport. Has anyone else heard that or seen the supposed reference?

Well, lets break that down.

Since you and many others believe Button is the #1 driver and thus has ultimate and supreme rule over the team, he orders the cars to be understeering or oversteering.

One can also deduct that because it is his preference, then he knows how to handle a car that understeers.

Though, I know you think he's probably got no talent, I would have to say, he just took the corner too fast.

Anyone can handle a car that understeers - drive slower so you make the corner, then tell everyone the car didnt have the grip to go faster
