No Hammer, I'm not an employee of SF - I guess being a Tifosi really is a special thing. We do feel part of the team, and I can tell you its a really great feeling. It's a pity you don't get that feeling (of actually being part of the team) as I wish all fans of whatever team could experience it.

Red Bulls wing wasn't banned, the test was made more stringent (ie loads used in the test were increased). They did that to the flexing Ferrari wing in '06 as well. But, "after" the loads were increased and you could still see the '06 Ferrari wing flexing the FiA came out and told Ferrari their wing was banned. Sorry if you can't see the very big difference in the way the FiA treated the respective teams. There is a difference between increasing the load of a test and coming outright and telling a team they cannot use the wing.

No Hammer, I'm not an employee of SF - I guess being a Tifosi really is a special thing. We do feel part of the team, and I can tell you its a really great feeling. It's a pity you don't get that feeling (of actually being part of the team) as I wish all fans of whatever team could experience it.

So how much dividends do Tifosis get paid? Is it monthly or yearly? Just want to know how much $$$ I'm missing out by supporting the wrong team.

I'm not sure how you measure the happiness quotient each Tifosi shares from our successes, and I'm equally not sure how the consolation meter accounts for making us feel better when things don't go so well, but one thing is for certain, I wouldn't give up my Tifosiness for a all the money in your bank account

From memory the FiA banned the wing with the comment that it was being banned because it breached the spirit of the law. I think they did it by adding an extra part to the cars that wasn't in the original regs/rules at the start of the 2006 season.

Although I 'understand' the feeling, you realize that it's just an emotional response and an outlet for excessive or misplaced passion. The NY Yankee fans I think feel the same way. I'm a Mets fan.

There is a professional football team that can actually make that WE claim. The Green Bay Packers are owned by the community of Green Bay, having actual ownership and the benefits and profits of the team being shared by the community. Imagine the Tifosi if the Scuderia did that?
